Art Prints & Custom Portraits Studio Cockatoo is small design space nestled deep in the sunshine coast hinterland, where we husband and wife team Luke and Kate Bordessa are busy creating beautiful geometric and modern art to adorn your walls. All of our designs are created in house and our range is constantly growing and evolving. Trained in graphic design and both from creative backgrounds, Studio Cockatoo was born. We are often asked about our design process and what inspires us, so here goes. Luke is super keen photographer and Kate is a sketch artist, combining these arts and many hours in Illustrator and Photoshop we finally achieve our work. Inspired by nature and animals we attempt to capture their essence while combining it with modern geometrical form. Our philosophy when it comes to design is keep it simple and keep it fresh. We do all of our own printing and packaging in house and wherever possible we use eco friendly methods. Our prints are printed onto high quality archival 190 gsm paper We also specialise is custom design, so please feel free to contact us with your ideas.
