Phil, Rona, Philippe and the team did such a fantastic job! You’ve made our house a home. Your personalised service and attention to detail was fantastic. You worked around the clock to get two bathrooms and our house tiled while we were on holidays! What a beautiful surprise to come home too. Thank you! I will highly recommend you to put friends and family.

Amazing service and amazing professional job. This firm filled all my very fussy requirements, and created a beautiful job me - on time - and perfectly beautiful.
We also then used this firm to recreate my daughter's bathroom, and again, truly professional, and a great job
Would recommend them to anyone.

Hi Phil, and Rona,
Just a short note to thank you and your Team for a very Professional job on our Bathroom Renovation.
The entire operation was exceptionally smooth, timely, and very pain free for us.
Your Trade Teams were very obliging, helpful, and professional in all aspects of their work, and this reflects your personal approach and commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction.
You should be very pleased with your Sub Contractors as they carry your reputation with their workmanship, and the results are first class.
Gayle and I would not hesitate in recommending your company to anyone looking for an honest, prompt, and professional contractor.
Again, thank you for a job well done.

"Dear Phil, Rona and boys
It started in frustration at having a builder wanting to do what he wanted and not what we wanted. I rang Betta Bathrooms Qld from the paper and Phil came round later that day.
After he left, Janine and I remarked how he liked OUR ideas. What started as a bathroom Reno ended up, 1 new ensuite, refurbishing 4 bedrooms, another bathroom, all new (Fabulous) Kitchen, dining, Lounge, total rebuild of rumpus room down stairs including Kitchenette, Laundry, and 1 bedroom. All new low energy lighting throughout the whole home. In total, about 5 months of fairly constant work. Janine found the tradesmen invading her that she was there a lot of the time. Phil home daily at all times courteous, and mindful and his team from Betta Bathrooms & Vision Group kept onto all the trades to keep up a good standard of workmanship which is evident by the great finish we have. I know it’s added far more value than money we spent and we love it.
It was our ideas with help from a very knowledgeable builder (That’s you Phil). Janine and I want to thank you and your family for a great building experience, from start to finish. I would and have already recommended your team to friends.
Regards,"
Brian & Janine

"Dear Phil,
Thank you for the gift you left today, just another example of the quality of service and care taken with every step of our bathroom renovation.
Driving home tonight I was contemplating how to express my sincere thanks for a job well done.
We have had several experiences with trades people and builders here on the Sunshine Coast over the years, and whenever I raised concerns about how something was being done, my concerns were wiped under the carpet with an attitude of disinterest, always leaving us to pick up the pieces, and fix the problems. I know I was not necessarily the easiest customer to deal with in the early stages, despite your reassurances, but that stems from past experience. Trades people have always made promises about the quality of their work, but until now that has never been delivered. How refreshing it is to have someone who listens, and actually fulfills their promises. Even prior to us contracting you to do the job, you made yourself available on several occasions as various problems unfolded when we started to remove tiles etc.
The level of service and workmanship far surpasses my expectations, and adding to that you maintained regular contact with us, visiting on several occasions to check on things yourself. For the first time ever we have had renovation work completed in a timely fashion, and in a manner which did not cause us any stress or inconvenience at any time. Your staffs were polite, showing respect and explaining things as we asked.
We look forward to seeing you again next year to build our ensuite. I will be more than happy to recommend you to any prospective clients.
Kind regards,"

Hi Phil & Betta Bathroom staff. Renovating can be a daunting experience. From the moment Phil quoted until the very end when we were left with our sparkling new bathroom, I felt completely confident with him and his team. They were punctual, considerate and friendly every step of the way - nothing was too hard. I would have no hesitation in recommending Betta Bathrooms to anyone."

It was a living nightmare! I had a new bathroom installed and a toilet installed in the existing one. They made heaps of mistakes, took every shortcut they could, which diminished the value of my property, rather than enhancing it. For example, they refused to tile 300 cm between the vanity and the slider, which looks stupid. And they didn't follow the lines (as well as the pattern of the tiles) above the vanity with those on the floor so the work cannot be easily corrected by more competent tilers. Same with laundry. (See photos). They were bullies who made unreasonable demands; they also dirtied and damaged work being done by other contractors. Betta, as in Betta look elsewhere to get your bathroom done!

IN RESPONSE TO OUR CLIENT MARJORIE MACKINNON POST.
Marjorie accepted our quote and signed our HIA contract backed by the QBCC our licensing governing body. Part of our contract included our fully detailed scope of works.
As we progressed through the contract Marjorie decided to engage her own tiler to tile the entire floors of the house and also her painter but not the bathroom & laundry nook as this was part of our contract but no painting was included in our contract. I did ask Marjorie not to tile or paint anywhere near the old laundry come new bathroom & laundry nook renovation but she ignored my request and proceeded, that created a lot of problems for us. Before our work was complete she decided to start painting the new bathroom & laundry nook, this action again created a problems. (See attached photos)
Our scope of works was quite intense hence (major works) cutting slab for new shower drain, re-plumbing hot/cold, electrical for new bathroom and laundry nook etc. Marjorie kept wanting to change our scope of works which she initially signed off on. One time she said to me she didn't really understand the contract/scope which I fully explained to her whilst quoting for the job and before she signed the contract and I also said to her that my office suggested she has her solicitor read, explain and advise her before signing the contract but she declined. We say this to all our clients.
Marjorie says I refused to tile 300mm between the vanity and the sliding door, that is not true and the splash back tile? well my tiler explained this to her before he laid it and told her she had no decent tiles left because they were all used by her tiler to complete the rest of the house, so she told him she would accept the splash back tile if it was out of the floor tile alignment. When I did my final walk through with her she did mention it again so I did give her the opportunity for my tiler to return to site and retile the splash back tiles and she would have to purchase more tiles and I would need to give her a variation because my tiler had finished his work and said to her we tiled as per our contract which included the laundry nook, you can see the photos she posted. She supplied all the tiles this was part of our contract.
She also asked for the wall niche in the shower to be relocated but her request was after we installed the wall niche.
She tried to blame us for the mess her tiler and painter made throughout the house including the painter's dust from sanding his plaster off the ceilings and walls. (See attached photos)
She tried to blame us for the censor light we installed in the laundry nook not working only to find out she bought the censor light on special and it was faulty, my electrician kept telling her he wired it up correctly.
The day we started the works we removed the laundry door and stored it in the adjacent bedroom, I asked her not to remove it. She did the exact opposite and put all the other doors together with the one we removed in the garage. When I questioned her about this, she said "it's in the garage your guys can get" Consequently there were 10 doors and we had to go through every one to indentify the correct door we originally stored away. We wasted 1/2 hour but what made it worse is she said to me "Phil you're the builder you can sort it out.
Before our work was completed she decided to start painting the new bathroom & laundry nook, this action again created a problem for us. (See attached photos)
We had our skip bin on site and despite me asking her to stop putting her rubbish in it because our work was not complete and we needed all the room possible she kept dumping her garden clippings, tile pallet, paint buckets, off cut tile from her tiler the list goes on. Consequently we did run out of room and we had to take our rubbish in our utes. (See attached photos)
Our contract still had 12 days to completion and she came up to me saying she will be changing the entrance lock in 5 days because the agent she appointed to rent the house out would need access and we would have to contact the agent for access. I immediately made her aware of our uninterrupted access clause in our contract and if she changed the locks before our completion she would be in breach.
Every time we sent her an email she kept saying "I can't get in my emails" but when we sent her the quote and contract she had no problems opening her emails, go figure. The list goes on.
All in all it is unfortunate when a client signs off on a contract and then questions it. We carried our work as per the contract.
Makes no sense to me why Marjorie chose to be difficult to deal with.
