Peter and team did an amazing job on our downstairs renovation. We redid our tiling (replaced with heated floor tiles), kitchen and bathroom, installed some new internal doors, removed a wall or two to open up the space, changed all the lights to downlights, and replaced a window with a bifold window. All in all it was a pretty big job, and to make things more complicated it all happened while we had a family vacation in Europe for four weeks. This was great as it meant we didn't have to deal with the inconvenience of having our kitchen, floor, bathroom etc. replaced while we tried to live in the house, but it was also pretty daunting. What if something went wrong? What if the builder had questions they needed answers to? Turns out our fears were misplaced and Peter was a consummate professional. He didn't bother us with minor questions - but when something needed our input he also didn't hesitate to contact us. He never seemed bothered that it took us overnight to get back to him, and also didn't mind contacting suppliers etc. that we'd been dealing with. This was the most stress free renovation we've done, and it was mainly due to Peter's professionalism, experience and the team he has at his disposal. Peter brought in an electrician and plumber as needed, and we just worked directly with Peter at all times. One other thing worth pointing out is Peter's sense of what works and what doesn't. While he is professional and isn't pushy, he also is forthcoming with great opinions on what would look good or would look a bit off. I learnt to trust his instincts and experience. All in all Peter was a pleasure to work with. He'll be our first choice of builder for our next project and we'd recommend him to anyone looking for a great buider.

Peter Fyffe is one of those rare builders who is open, honest, knowledgeable and demonstrates the perfect balance between giving sound advice and direction and listening to the client's wishes. He will turn up when he says he will and will respect your property throughout the job. He works with skilled and reliable tradespeople and together they make a great team of professionals. He is reasonably priced and you will receive value for money. Highly recommended.
