We absolutely love the bathroom that Peninsula Contemporary Bathrooms has delivered us. Rebecca was amazing throughout the design process, providing a beautiful design taking on board our style and being very clever with space utilisation for a small space. We always felt we were getting her full attention and really saw her design talent come out. Dave was amazing throughout the whole process keeping us updated of all the progress, communicating changes and delivering an absolutely amazing bathroom. It has made such a difference to our lives being able to now use a functional bathroom for 2 young boys with space for a small family! His attention to detail has made for such a nice space, and he has worked so hard throughout the build. We cannot recommend Peninsula Contemporary Bathrooms enough, they have done a fantastic job with our bathroom and really made it both functional and beautiful for our family to enjoy.

Dave Smith of Peninsula Contemporary Bathrooms has just completed an amazing transformation of our two bathrooms, laundry and WC. After speaking to a number of his previous clients, my wife and I expected an exceptional standard of work and weren’t disappointed. Dave introduced us to Rebecca Cardamone of Ace Property Agency for assistance with selection of fixtures, design and drawings. This provided a solid basis for quoting project cost and duration. With regular consultation, Dave made sure throughout construction that we were happy with the way that the design features were coming together. With over 30 years’ experience, he made some really good suggestions for cost savings and to improve the final appearance and functionality of each room. Unlike some builders, Dave only works on one project at a time so was always on site from start to finish. He has a long-standing relationship with a number of independent, quality tradespeople who attended on relevant days to keep the schedule moving smoothly. Our part of the project was to purchase tiles, taps and other fixtures. We found Dave to have a very pleasant manner and be thoroughly reliable, honest and timely. He was able to keep the property remarkably clean, even during the demolition phase. We now understand why Dave & his company (Peninsula Contemporary Bathrooms) continue to win Best of Houzz awards. They set the highest standard in attention to detail and service. We have no hesitation in recommending Dave for your next bathroom project.

Peninsula Contemporary Bathrooms’ Dave Smith demolished and rebuilt our bathroom, ensuite and powder room and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. Dave is a talented master builder who does the screed, waterproofing and tiling himself, so he knows the work is completed to his high standard, and uses an excellent team for all other trades. We also wanted new louvre windows installed in theses rooms and then decided to get a new roof. Dave, with his building expertise and contacts, recommended a roofing company and sorted out a few other building issues for us. Dave is a perfectionist who takes extreme pride in his work, keeps you updated with options and progress throughout the renovation, is extremely organised, reliable and trustworthy and keeps the worksite clean and tidy. We’ve come to realise there are bathrooms and then there are bathrooms. We have no hesitation in recommending Peninsula Contemporary Bathrooms. Dave went above and beyond.

Dave did a wonderful job on our complex, high end renovation. I am a tricky client, but our client builder relationship worked better than I could have hoped. No doubt this was because Dave has a very high attention to detail, takes great pride in his work and genuinely wants you to be happy with every little detail. He also has a good memory for the little things that come up in conversation - but could so easily be forgotten. Perhaps most importantly, Dave is fair, honest and a pleasure to have around. He respects the family's space and works in around you as he goes about his business. In our case we had some unusual requests that involved things Dave hadn't done before. He planned everything out methodically so that there were no stuff ups. Ten out of ten. Would highly recommend.

I enjoyed ripping out a very old and tired bathroom but decided to leave it to the expert to rebuild. Dave did a fantastic job. He understands every aspect of these complicated rooms, from waterproofing to tiling, finishing and beyond, and his eye for detail is great. My wife and I highly recommend Dave Smith from Peninsula Contemporary Bathrooms. We engaged Dave at the start of December 2020 with an ambitious aim of having our unit bathroom completely gutted and renovated by Christmas. We specified a detailed project with large format tiles, lineal drain, underfloor heating, perimeter LED lighting, heated towel racks, LED vanity mirror, fabrication of a large shower nook with LED lighting etc etc. Without the benefit of working drawings to build from, he set out a schedule that had us in by the 24th of December and he kept to it. We asked Dave to deliver a very high standard of workmanship and he delivered above those high expectations. He is very communicative and engaged us at every stage to ensure that we understood the process and that we were happy with the decisions and actions taking place. His input on everything from tile selection to design ideas and ergonomics was spot on and thankfully we listened to him - as a result we have the luxury of a bathroom that is a joy to use. Highly recommended.

Dave gave us a wonderful new functional modern ensuite bathroom in a room which had a shape that was challenging . Nothing was too much trouble for him .He was meticulous in attention to detail and reliable ,using top tradesmen for the electrical,plumbing and cabinetry .
