“Our kitchen was starting to fall apart and needed make over. We want a retro look as our home was built in the 1950's, but modern materials that emulated the look and feel of the period. We wanted a bigger kitchen and decide to do extensive rebuild involving removing of walls, electrical and plumbing relocation. We also wanted someone who would do the whole project. When we started looking for a firm most could only do the kitchen and not the building works. But what swayed us to go with Nouvelle was they actually provided a preliminary design for us at the quotation stage. Others vendors would come and just talk or tell us how they would do it and ignore our ideas. The job is close to being complete and the kitchen is a joy and exactly how I pictured it would look. We also relocated the laundry to internal closet and combined a toilet and bathroom into a single room which Nouvelle did to. The design through to execution has been wonderful. It took close to 6 weeks. We moved out of home for 5 weeks. The Friday we were due to move back Nouvelle made sure that it was liveable water, electric, stove all worked. Only surprise we had was the bathroom floor need replacing and was quickly fixed by Nouvelle with only a small adjustment and reason it took longer then was expected. But old homes tend to have surprises. The staff were excellent both in the office and at the house. I would be happy to recommended Nouvelle to others, as our renovation went very smoothly and the results are something we can happily live with for many years to come. More pics on my ideas book.”

“There are many reasons why we are glad we chose CplusC over other architects. Firstly, their natural and balanced aesthetic strongly appeals to us and we are genuinely pleased and impressed with the quality of the construction of our home. Secondly, and as importantly, CplusC are both designers and builders. This has the advantage of avoiding disagreements between architects and builders, which meant a less difficult building process and minimises the unexpected costs that inevitably arise. Thirdly, CplusC are environmentally clever designers and builders: they design to minimise wasted construction materials; and their design and the materials they used means our ongoing expenses are reduced (we only need to turn the heater on for three or so weeks in the year, and don't use air conditioning, instead enjoying cross-breezes). CplusC have built us a beautiful home that our children will grow up in and we are happy to recommend them.”

“We approached Kev to design the gardens of our beach house in Goolwa. As the house is literally behind the sand dunes we had no idea what plants would survive the salt laden winds. As my husband and I are from different cultural backgrounds we wanted him to create spaces that reflected our individual tastes, was reminiscent of places we have travelled coupled with being sympathetic to the property location. During our consultation Kev recommended creating two quite different gardens – the front to draw inspiration from the beach, sand dunes and its native surrounds, and the rear to have a more tropical, lush feel that would create a completely different experience representing our travels overseas. When Kev presented the design plan to us, it was better than we ever imagined. We absolutely love the selection of plants recommended and the contemporary landscaping materials such as the rusted steel, raised curved garden beds to complement the wide variety of native flora for the front garden, and elements such as the outdoor shower for Tim after a surf and bath for myself to relax under the stars for the back garden. He also included extensive undercover decked outdoor living and dining area’s as we’re keen entertainers. He even managed to include stone paving and steps referrencing my grandmothers Portuguese bungalow in Kerala in South India into the design – a place I told him had a special place in my heart during our first meeting. I can’t wait to see his design come to fruition over the coming months and highly recommend Kev to anyone reading this!”
