“I bought a house that was almost 60 years old. Besides requiring new wiring and plumbing, the bathrooms were both ugly and functioned poorly. I hired on the ball because they had redone the bathrooms in my previous residence and I had been very happy with the results. They worked well with a team of guys to bring my house up to livability and secured all correct council permissions for me to install a bathroom in my basement which was to become my studio. One of On the Balls great strengths is that they pays attention not only to the functionality of the spaces they alter but to the aesthetics and to small details that could easily be overlooked. The main bathroom was tiny and inconvenient. Shane knocked out the linen closet next to it creating much more space and a perfect place for the bathtub. He installed a heater and good lighting. Again, because i am short, he installed the shower at a height that works for me. Besides the fittings the advice on selecting everything from flooring, to tiles to tubs and sinks has been invaluable. Shane and James have good taste combined with his sensitivity to my needs, extensive knowledge of materials and processes and his ability to think outside the box have created a home I love to live in and inviting to my friends. Thanks guys”

“Mario Tascone and his team designed the house that we are currently building. We went to him with a concept of what we wanted to achieve with the block that we had, and he developed our concept through several iterations to the final design. He then prepared all of the working drawings required for building approvals and for actual construction. We were very happy with the service provided by Mario and his team, if we challenged aspects of the design he was not defensive, but instead listened and took our comments into consideration for the next iteration of the design. We would have no hesitations in recommending the Tascone Design Team to anyone looking for a home designer.”

“Clare Pullen Designs designed a new study for our family last year. We had several requirements for the room: it needed to provide more storage for our household, as well as be able to be used by two household members at the same time. Clare provided us with a mood board to illustrate the colour scheme and a floor plan of cupboards, counter, and other storage elements. She recommended suppliers to help keep our costs down. Her detailed advice guided us as we undertook the renovation ourselves. The final result has provided necessary storage and a room set out to enable both our daughter and her father computer time. The office also looks fantastic with its contrast of white walls and white cupboard doors against the dark wood look of the cupboard shell and flooring. Overall, Clare has an "eye" and an ability to update the look of any room in an economical and practical way. Trust her judgement!”

The build went smoothly and I was informed of progress regularly and consulted regularly. Nothing was too much trouble with them or their trades. “We contacted Emma and Paul to provide a quote on rebuilding our old, warped deck. We were really impressed with their professionalism and enthusiasm for the project as well as the competitive price. Paul and Adam did an incredible job with the deck, we are so happy with the result!! They kept us informed with progress along the way and left the site spotless when the job was done. They provided us with really useful information on how to look after and care for our beautiful new deck. We couldn't recommend them highly enough! We've already started planning the next projects at the house with Castlegate Home Improvements.”
