We contacted Aaron to help us improve our living situation in our old Queenslander style home, it was hot and dark in places, and we desperately needed more space. From the very first meeting, Aaron impressed us with his friendly and approachable nature. Aaron designed an extension with a master bedroom suite including ensuite and bespoke wardrobes as well as a laundry and outdoor living area for our home at Wynnum. Being a designer myself, I had so many ideas for my own home it was getting ridiculous. So I commissioned Aaron to come up with some of his ideas for an extension. He came up with just one which took advantage of the site and its north-easterly aspect, we immediately saw the benefits and commissioned him to draw the plans for council approval and arrange engineers and certifiers and also liaise with our builder with the goal to get started as soon as possible, the process was seamless and it has worked out to be the perfect solution! With Aaron involved, we made some slight adjustments along the journey to completion, but Aaron's initial concept has remained intact. We are so happy with the ergonomics of his design, as it is so easy to move between the spaces he has created. We have included a huge sliding glass door that hides away in the wall so that the indoor/outdoor feel is exactly what we wanted and the flow from the indoor area to the outdoor living is completely unrestricted. Aaron has turned our Queenslander Cottage into a beautiful modern energy efficient home we can be proud of.
