We engaged Tom from Halcyon to design a 2-storey home for a small block in Wembley Downs. At our initial meeting he got a detailed feel for what we liked and what we didn’t, and it was a really interactive process as we all threw around some ideas. When the first draft of the design came back, we were blown away. Tom had really understood what we wanted to achieve, the opportunities and challenges of our block, and delivered us a creative design that made sense in every way. There were “wow” features that we never imagined. It’s an amazing experience to work with a designer who not only respects your brief and your budget, but takes it to a level well beyond your expectations.

We were super impressed in how, after giving Tom a long wish list and definite ‘don’ts’ he had our design 95% nailed after only one meeting. Tom’s creativeness shone through and the finishing touches (or the wow factor) have turned our dream into a reality. Tom was easy to work with and was able to interpret our vague ideas for a house on a long, narrow block into something amazing. We would highly recommend Halcyon Designs to anyone looking to design their new home.
