Quality Home Design & Developments is an experienced and enthusiastic building design and drafting business that still has as much passion for design and focus on excellence in a project as it did 30 years ago. Founded in 1983, Quality Home Design & Developments was a sole owner operated business up until 2011 when we began to expand. The principal designers are a mother - daughter team and our motto is ‘Tried and True combined with Exciting and New’. Quality Home Design & Developments is located in Bacchus Marsh and we service many of the surrounding suburbs and locations across Melbourne. We work with a group of qualified contractors specialising in residential design to allow all of your drafting documentation to be of the highest quality. You can have peace of mind knowing that the contractors working on your documents are fully qualified with many years of experience. On completion you’ll be provided with a comprehensive set of documents that you can take to any builder or building surveyor, confident that all regulations, design, engineering and environmental matters have been fully considered both structurally and aesthetically. As qualified Thermal Performance Assessors, we have a firm belief that energy efficiency in design is paramount. We take into account all aspects of energy efficiency, including natural elements, orientation, insulation, budget and more when designing your home. We are as passionate about energy efficiency as we are about design. Quality Home Design & Developments became a member of the Building Designers Association of Victoria (BDAV) in 1993, with Susan being the first female member. With ongoing membership we regularly attend seminars, webinars and workshops that keep us up to date with the latest trends, building products and regulations. A lot of Quality Home Design and Developments’ clients come from referrals and repeat customers, which is a testament to our commitment to the highest standard of work and customer service provided.
