RBD Residential Building Design

As a town planning consultant, I have engaged with Tim and his staff at RBD to secure planning approval for quite a few housing projects across Melbourne. This project was interesting and challenging, introducing 10 x 3-storey townhouses into a traditional single dwelling setting with policy support for change. The process required detailed consultation with Council and a willingness to explore design solutions to resolve Council's planning requirements whilst maintaining an attractive design, good internal layouts and an efficient build. The client was very satisfied with the final outcome, with direct Council approval for a development outcome at the very upper end of what the site could deliver.
