Structure Building Design

Structure Building Design provides design and documentation for planning approval and construction, with a particular focus on improving liveability in our built environment... be it a new home or alterations to existing dwellings. Susan Jarrett is the owner of Structure Building Design, an Accredited Building Designer and Greensmart professional. Susan's life experiences have contributed to her success in building design. She attributes her ability to solve problems such as, flow, storage and access to light, to her childhood years spent living on a small yacht. Her training in medical science gave her an appreciation of accuracy, precision and detail, which together with her extensive experience in sales, sales management and product management of high capital expense items, has helped develop her project management and stakeholder satisfaction skills. Susan’s passion for the built environment and education, was demonstrated during her years teaching Building Studies and Architectural Technology at TAFE NSW and UNSW. She was awarded a fellow membership of the Building Designers Association of Australia for her contribution to the industry, in particular for establishing a national mentoring program for student members.
