Why does the website show A-grade wood with no knots, yet the floors sold have knots galore! ABCD grade? I don't mind ABCD, but it would be nice if your images were accurate.

I am extremely happy with our new Mafi floor. I found the guys at Mafi excellent to deal with, the floor was installed on time and my builder was happy to work with them too.

Woodos supplied and installed our floors using natural oak floors that were white oiled in the factory and shipped in July.

I don't even know what the Kebony wood is like as we haven't installed it yet - hopefully it's worth all the hassle to date. I just had to share our purchase experience - SO ordinary. The lady who answers the phone promises to call back and never does . We had to call 4 times over the period of about 2 weeks just trying to find it what length the timbers came in. Then on the 5th call, a guy answered the phone and hooray, he could actually answer the question . We went in, got a sample with the price written on the back of the sample. Then when it came time to order "oh no that's not the price" and it was very much a 'that's your problem" attitude. When asked if there's anything they can do to show goodwill given the experience to date, the promise to ask the boss and come back to us was made. Three follow ups later, still no answer . I'm just really surprised (and disappointed ) by how hard some companies make it when you want to buy their product. Post script: they wouldn't honour the price per metre which was annoying given the hassles but we decided to press on as the product seems so good. Got the invoice, transferred the money, organised the ute and went to pick up the wood. Got a phone call that actually there was an error on the quote and no, it was actually $3000 more than originally quoted. Wow. I'm really quite shocked. Let's hope they transfer our payment back. At this point, we have given up in despair.

I am an architect by profession. Mafi has done my floor at home and many floors for my clients. The product is amazing. I have it in my bathroom, up walls across floors etc. I have 2 kids and a dog and have parties for 150 people and the floor looks like the day it was laid! We just mop soap onto it every month. It's not often you find a product that exceed your expectations but this definitely does. It's so stable I have started using it on joinery in kitchens etc. For many years I specified Australian hardwoods and with climate controlled buildings had to put up with complaints about shrinkage and cupping etc. My boards at home are 300mm wide and I don't have even half a millimetre of movement in them. Keep it up Mafi........I'm impressed!
