Port Shipping Containers

We have recently acquired a 20ft container from Port Shipping Containers, with utility door, whirl type extractor with vermin proof ventilators, painted white on outside, bush green roof, and black antirust paint on the underside. Delivery was 300km from Sydney with a truck with crane, so as to get it into place on already prepared pylons that were not conveniently placed. We are very happy with the quality of the container delivered and the service provided by Port. Sometime next year we will probably buy another container with similar specs from Port.

Excellent company to deal with. Not sure what the other reviewers below are going on about - looks like they are talking about a complete differently company that is listed. I went to there depot in Mayfield and picked out my container and had it delivered that afternoon! Had it placed exactly where I wanted it and everything. I don't think I could have asked for better service - 10 out of 10!

BUYER BEWARE - THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD In April 2017 they liquidated company and moved all assets to sister company and dishonoured all fully paid for containers (IN EXCESS OF 7 MILLION) (see Donna wellins) Myself has lost order for 2 fully paid for containers. The Company employees will advise they are short of container knowing full well order are been taking and knowing full well they cannot provide product. Directors have relisted family members in new sister company. DANGER DO NOT USE AT ALL COST...PORT CONTAINER SERVICES ARE CRIMINALS.

This is my first bad review i have ever written but I have had such the worse experience ever and worried other innocent good people may also get caught! I purchased a shipping container to help my parents out - as my dad was really sick and they needed to store their furniture in it. I paid in full including delivery ( 2500) - stupidity i know, but i trusted the sales person - they were really friendly and helpful at the time. I received a delivery day via email but they didnt show- had to contact them several times, kept getting told they would ring me back or they were in meetings. Eventually we were promised a refund via email - but its been 5 weeks now and still no refund. Every time a ring they refuse to put me through to someone - saying they are at meetings and now they have entered my email address into their spam filter! I just feel like crying! my poor dad dosnt need this! We have lodged a complaint with fair trading. What gets me is they just dont care at this company!!

I hired this company to modify shipping containers for a residential house build, including the supply and installation of glazing. My experience with them was appalling. It took four months to receive a confirmed quote, then once I paid some deposit the quote was up the air again for another 3 months as they re-evaluated the same documents. Multiple mistakes were made at all stages of the build, including: having the wrong specs included in orders for glazing materials despite at least 6 emails from me confirming the required specs and I had supplied a full window schedule; errors in the final drawings before the modifications were made and even when some of those errors were found and discussed in the drawing stage they were not corrected in the final build; windows and doors were put in the wrong places due to incorrect measurements; and the company ended by breaching their own contract and changed the payment terms in the final weeks. The staff were initially friendly and pleasant to deal with and they fixed mistakes at their own cost, but as things progressed they became obstructive and unreasonable and tried to blame me for more of their mistakes in an attempt to get me to pay for them. The timeline given to me was 6 weeks but the build took 7 months. A major final mistake on their part was sending me the wrong measurements for the containers they supplied, specifically for the bottom side rails, so on arrival the containers did not properly fit onto my foundations, which could have cost me thousands in truck and crane hire. This company displayed ongoing incompetence and topped it off with unethical behaviour by breach of contract by the company’s directors, who knew they were in breach of contract and didn’t care. So despite all the delays and mistakes the job ended with no effort by the company directors to try to make amends, instead they made it all worse. Watch out for how they work - I dealt with several staff and when I spoke to someone new they would deny whatever the previous person had told me and say they weren’t responsible for the promises of other staff, so I ended up having to pay for things that others had suggested would be included.
