Reliquary Studio
Carpenters in Dover Plains, NY
“Had a wonderful experience working with Reliquary Studio on a recent kitchen renovation. The project was a gut renovation of a landmarked building- Reliquary Studio built and hand painted all kitchen and laundry cabinetry, as well as butcher-block topped island. The work was exceptional; high quality, attention to detail, great communication and meticulous installation.
Matt is solution driven, and definitely goes the extra mile in delivering thoughtful, accessible solutions to any challenges that might arise. Need a pull-out, rotating shelf for your microwave, concealed recycling, or a 10" wide pull-out pantry? Not a problem. The best part...they are so easy to work with! As someone managing a large NYC renovation during a pandemic, I so appreciate working with people with a good attitude that can really deliver. Will definitely work with Reliquary Studio again and again.”

Leo And Company Llc
Carpenters in Dover Plains, NY
“I hired Leo and company a few years back to help me with a project that consisted on adding a new room to my apartment. He helped me with some ideas that i really liked. Price was very reasonable, he is very professional, competent and the job was done very quickly. Leo is very thororough and something that I really liked is that he pays attention to every detail. I had a pleasant experience. I would not only recommend his services but would hire him again for a future project.”

“We bought our dream house in May 2020 - 1767 farmhouse in CT. Skilled, stable, sane, reasonably priced craftsman are so hard
To come by - it was a tall order.
We were so lucky to have found Keith. He is a true artist and it’s all about the work, quality, and client. Sadly, I was recently offered a job in Los Angeles and we put the house on the market in Dec and it sold in 12 hours.
I had big plans for the house, all of which included Keith’s talent on Millwork, insuring quality and taste level. Keith would have made this a million dollar house.
Attached is samples of his work. An old very standard bookcase I needed to modernize and totally reimagine so a big tv would fit and not look ridiculous. It came out as a showstopper. Hmmm - looks like I may not be able to post pics. I will send pics to keith for his Houzz page. Side note, I found Keith on Houzz!
By the way, I will be referring Keith to the new owners of the house as they plan to update it as well and he is absolutely the only person they should use.”
Carpentry Unlimited, Inc.
Carpenters in Dover Plains, NY
“We were introduced to carpentry unlimited after hurricane sandy for a garage rebuild. We had been working with another builder for a while, but we were stalled out in the construction process due to permits, etc. We decided to call other local builders to try and get the rebuild done ASAP before the winter. Doug and Bruce were able to quickly get the project up and running. Carpentry unlimited has been in business for many years and therefore is known in the area and this fact made the entire building process so much easier for us. They knew who to call and when, which was key to getting the rebuild approved. The price was fair and their workers are efficient and neat and do great work. They were flexible with making some changes as the construction was taking place and were in constant contact with us regarding updates in deliveries of supplies. Our garage came out great and they are now working on updates on the rest of our house including windows and siding, and have already completed a great new front porch for us. Recommend them highly!”
SPwoodenworks
Carpenters in Dover Plains, NY
“Es macht Spaß mit SPwoodenworks zusammenzurarbeiten. Es wurde alles so umgesetzt, wie wir es uns gewünscht haben. Die Sitzbank ist robust und optisch ein Hingucker. An dieser Stelle noch mal Danke für die tolle Arbeit.”

“I have worked with Fred on several projects in clients home and within my own. There is nothing he cannot do. He loves a challenge and he always excels. Being in the business as an interior designer I am quite picky about who works with my clients and in my own home and I trust Red line again and again. He has a great eye, is unbelievably knowledgable and super trustworthy.”
Ernest J. Genovese & Son Llc.
Carpenters in Dover Plains, NY
“Rich Genovese -- the son who continues the family business -- is always the first guy we reach out to when there's a house job to do. He's gut renovated a bathroom for us. He's completely rebuilt not one, but two porticos for us. He's repaired garage doors, porch decking, light electrical jobs, plumbing issues. He also built our chicken pen!
What do we love about Rich?
1. He's really honest and reasonable.
2. He's eminently trustworthy. We give him a key to our house and know that he won't accidently lock the cats in the basement.
3. He's there for you in a pinch, with the shop vac. (Even when when there's no pinch, he finishes his work thoroughly, cleanly.)
4. He has many, many friends in construction and is a valuable referral machine for roofers, painters, electricians, plumbers, tapers, whatever you need.
5. He tolerates requests that might make his work harder, like when we say we want to reuse materials instead of buying new. Or we want to recreate historic crown molding.
Finally, Rich has a great sense of humor. Nothing ever goes exactly as planned in house projects. It sure does help to have a partner who keeps the mood light and makes the process enjoyable.”
