“The spaces we wanted to update were not cohesive with each and with an open flowing house from entrance through to living room it needed to be. The styles we previously went with didn't match and I was finding it difficult to purchase items that were consistent in theme and style which was just wasting money. My husband and I also have different ideas on design so it always felt mismatched and clunky. I ran into Michelle whilst I was shopping for yet another cushion at Adair’s, we ended up chatting as we realised our sons have the same name. I asked for her business card as she was shopping for another client at the time, styling a room and I liked how she was putting together the pieces at the time. Michelle and I striked up a lot of common grounds early in our discussions and early meetings of designing the spaces. My husband and my styles are very different but Michelle worked really closely with both of us to ensure we ended up with a space that was both homely and suitable for young children but also minimalist and stylish. She was able to merge our loves of mid-century with coastal elements whilst still allowing our own personalities and preferences to shine. Like the personalised skateboard design that my husband developed. Since COVID I have been working from home and I love that my house feels stylish, coordinated and personalised to both my husband and my style preferences. I love the minimalist approach and I love each and every piece Michelle helped us with purchasing. Michelle was so patient with our decisions and always provided options for us to consider throughout the process. I cannot recommend Michelle highly enough. I just can't wait for our next project where we can work together again.
