“Carolina Colortones was a departure from the norm but living in the Northeast we wanted the best product and long term protection we could get which meant pre-finishing the cedar shingles we settled on. We also wanted to avoid staining after installation which we learned the hard way was a real challenge to properly finish between all pieces. We actually settled on two coats (both sides) and were very happy with the product quality and service. They delivered a quality finished product on an agreed upon timeline. There were no hassles or hidden cost although we did take expert advise and added a moisture wrap under the product. They were Great to work with and always available for updates or general information. I highly recommend!”

“We hired this company largely by "word of mouth" from friends that had used them and after researching to make sure they were insured and licensed (they are--since 1954!) we signed the contract. From start to finish the experience was just great. We loved the new master bath addition so much that we had them remodel our kitchen. Next up--new windows. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this company that has seriously been in business since 1954--started by the dad and now son Mike runs it. Quality work and they do what they say. When you watch TV shows or hear about contractors that do shoddy work or took the money and ran--it makes you nervous about hiring someone you do not know. Glenn Wilson Construction's reputation certainly precedes them. Mike has a degree in Construction Science from Clemson University and is so knowledgable about design. The price we were quoted was absolutely what we paid--no hidden fees or overcharges. When he said the crew would be there to work--they were there. It was so nice to find a company we can trust!”
