“I can't speak highly enough of this builder. My husband works in the building industry and sees the final product of many many builders. He's worked for Lindon Homes for several years and always said that when we built our new home, Lindon Homes would be the one he'd choose. “It all started with meeting Jason Nicholls, the sales consultant of Ownit Homes, I walked into a display home in Upper Coomera and there I met Jason. What an asset to the company, he is kind and friendly, not pushy at all and so helpful. Nothing is ever too much for him. And he follows up with everything. Next is the back office team in particular Nikki Lennon and Angela Black. I have asked them both so many questions and they never got irritable with me and they explained everything to me in a language I could understand. And lastly, Mark, the site supervisor, he is as friendly as the rest and phones me every week to let me know how the construction is going. (A very nice touch) My new home is on time and on budget. “Cannot recommend Dwain and the team at Hezzelic enough! From our first meeting, Dwain was great to deal with, friendly, listened to what we were after and our concerns (we were building in Brisbane whilst living in Sydney), accommodating and provided valuable feedback on all aspects given this was our first build. All the specifications and price of the build were laid out from the beginning and Dwain took the time to talk through all our questions in detail (thanks for your patience!) to make sure we were comfortable with everything and to ensure there were no surprises. All the inclusions were of a high standard. The build itself was seamless, we were provided regular updates on the progress of the build and there were no delays from the original timetable. What sets Hezzelic apart is the quality of finishes and the pride Dwain, Shane and the team take in their work. Just a tiny example, during the build, Dwain noticed the way we had the front door swing in the plans didn’t flow well practically, he called us to discuss this, and amended the plan for the door accordingly. It is the little details like this that you miss when you are not on site but that we were grateful that the Hezzelic team took the time to think of and address during the build process. Dwain, Shane and the team have great attention to detail and take pride in their finishes, when we did the walk through for handover, they picked out defects that we missed and had them all fixed prior to us moving in. “After coming to the conclusion that we needed an outdoor entertainment area, we contacted Dion and others to discuss our options. All the other people offered to come to our house to provide a free quote and consultation. Dion was the only one that charged for this service. After initially baulking at the price, we reluctantly decided to proceed with his consultation fee. We were quite nervous in paying this amount because we did not know what value Dion would provide. Even on the day that Dion was to arrive, we still had doubts whether this was the right thing to do - but we decided to have an open mind. Dion not only arrived on time but he actually talked to us and wanted to get a feel for what we did in the different parts of the house. Yes his brief was that we needed an outdoor entertainment area, but within 20 minutes of Dion's consultation, he was challenging us on that notion. His challenging questions and realistic answers shed new light on what we thought we wanted. The easy path that Dion could have taken was to agree with what we wanted. If we went down that path, Dion would have been happy but after living with the outdoor entertainment area, we would not have been. Dion instead really listened to our needs and presented ideas that went to the heart of what we wanted. His ideas were fantastic and the consultation fee was, in our eyes, a small price compared to the value that he provided. If you have any doubts on the value of this fee for service, don't. You will be amazed on what he delivers. By the way, the other people who supplied the free quotes spent as little time as they could with us and did not provide any ideas on the solution that we actually wanted.”
