Kensington Design has also received awards for Heritage and Conservation. Kensington Design’s focus is solely on residential projects. The variety of work undertaken includes new homes, additions, conversions and group developments. Undertaking only 10 -12 new projects per year with construction budgets ranging from less than $100,000 - $2,000,000 plus, our company is able to focus on attention to detail and customer service with the objective of ensuring that client expectations are not only met, but exceeded.

Kensington Design was extremely helpful in designing our beautiful new extension. Their concept seamlessly integrated the old and the new parts of our home. The designers were particularly interested in how we actually lived and were able to translate this information into a highly functional and effective new living space. The quality of the workmanship on the new extension was first class. Further, nothing was too much trouble for Kensington during the construction process. They carefully listened to our thoughts and responded with great ideas. There are so many decisions to be made in a building project which can, at times, seem overwhelming. Kensington Design were able to assist with all of the decisions which relieved us of a great deal of pressure. I would highly recommend Kensington Design if you are seeking great design outcomes and a high quality build, with limited stress.

Highly recommend Kensington Design. From my first meeting I felt confident my new house building project (a first for me!) was in expert hands with this small but professional company.. Sally and Hugh's skill in individual design and architecture, and their amazing patience and friendly encouragement allowed me to relax and actually enjoy the project as an exciting adventure. Jim and Wayne's constant on-site supervision of the actual building process was highly valued by their various trades meaning nothing was overlooked or missed. All members were very open and encouraging with my occasional variation considerations, meanwhile offering wise advice. All tradesmen employed have long standing connections with Kensington Design due to the high standard of their work. All were courteous, approachable and tidy. Finally, Jenny, Wonder-woman in the office, would always happily receive my calls and was prompt in addressing any of my concerns. So happy my friend recommended Kensington Design, and I am equally happy to do so.

Working with the team at Kensington Design has been a wonderful experience. Building with KD was a delight from the start. The ideas they present are so clever. They take the time to really listen to you and what you want and have the extraordinary ability to turn that into something fabulous.
