“Excellent experience! Cannot recommend highly enough. We engaged Steve and Shantelle to build our architect-designed home in late 2022. At the time COVID had severely affected the building industry with rising prices and the tradesman shortage. Despite the challenges, Hawker BCI delivered our high-quality home on time (6 months to the day!) and on budget. Both Steve and Shantelle were very hands-on throughout the project and always available to talk with us. COVID presented many supply issues which they were able to navigate through with ease using their experience and supplier contacts. Most of the subcontractors were long-time acquaintances of Steve which resulted in a defect-free build. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have met S & S. Having a previous experience with a bad builder which resulted in a 4-year legal battle we were very apprehensive at the start of the project. It was long before we knew we had made the right decision. Our home has now been completed for 8 months and our street has many homes that remain unfinished and built to a low standard. Many are using overseas contractors on work visas..... Thank you guys!”

“We engaged Sam to design a renovation of a 20 year-old cavity brick beach house. Sam listened to what we were wanting to achieve with our renovation, and then developed a solution which interprets our needs extremely well. We found Sam very easy to deal with. He is punctual, professional, and was always co-operative and friendly. He was very aware and understanding of budget constraints, making thoughtful recommendations on choices of materials and design features. He was readily available for questions about resources and materials and kept us well informed throughout the design process.
