“We engaged Neche Page to help us design and make decisions about renovating 2 outdoor spaces. One being the front entrance of our home including a deck and side entrance, the second outdoor living space included a deck and pool. We were impressed from our first meeting with Neche’s professionalism, transparency and level of communication. She explained each stage of the design process including fees and expected time frames. Neche was thorough in her seeking information from us about how we use the space and what we were trying to achieve. After the first meeting, we felt we had direction and were confident in Neche’s approach. We were all on the same page. During the design phase, Neche imparted her in-depth knowledge of the latest products for deck and feature walls, orientation of sun and the impact on functionality along with pool compliance issues. One of our top priorities in this brief was no or limited maintenance. Neche researched and sourced the products, cross checking specifications with manufacturers and other specialists in the industry for their experiences with the product before recommending her choices to us. Her collaboration and communication (verbally and written) promoted a common understanding and went a long way to reducing issues when renovating. We then contracted Neche during the build to assist with on-going design decisions and trouble shooting on site, which invariably happens when renovating an older style house. Decisions need to be made on the spot to reduce delays and Neche was readily available to discuss either over the phone or on site with the builders and us. Her ability to translate builders or other contractors speak and put it in “layman’s terms” was a critical aspect for our understanding when making decisions. Neche continued to help us in the final stages to choose accessories including lighting, pots and outdoor furniture, which contributed to the overall product. We love our new spaces. Neche listened to our needs and wants but also introduced some design elements which have taken our ideas from ordinary to WOW!”
