Drafting services are good and amends Plan / Drafting mistakes (as no one is perfect) with limited pushback and delays. Thinks laterally and is able to provide alternatives to design challenges. Steve can suggest / recommend Interior Design, Engineering, Building Surveyor and Joinery Design services, however do your own investigation, as it is your relationship with these associated trades, which matters in the end, not Steve's. Recommended for value for money (investment), as not overpriced.”

“We first met representatives of My Architect at the 2012 Grand Designs Expo at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. We discussed their philosophy of providing a staged approach, from initial ideas and drawings to the whole suite of architectural services. We could choose what we wanted them to do. After the first visit to the building site and the ideas and drawings provided, we decided to engage My Architects for the next stage of developing the plans. They provided a staged costing for services. The project development took over 12 months with many changes of ideas and input from My Architects. Their responsiveness and ideas proved to be a catalyst for a most successful outcome. The building site has spectacular 360 degree views of N E Victoria in the Strathbogie Ranges. The task was to design a building that would take advantage of these views, while taking into consideration the environment in which it was located, adaptation for 2 people or many people and blending in as much as possible - hence the use of corten steel as the cladding. We think the outcome meets all these requirements. The building process has started and the excitement is building.”

“We recently used the Bluepoint team for our major renovation - 2 new bathrooms, a new kitchen, reconfiguration of most of the internal walls, raising a floor and a new deck with alfresco roof. As well as being approachable, the team are true craftsmen with genuine pride in getting the best result for their clients in how things look whilst being pragmatic about the budget. After unsuccessfully trying to get quotes from 4 different builders for several weeks, it was a breath of fresh air speaking to Guy who turned our quote around very quickly, spent time at the property with us talking about what we wanted to achieve and clearly wanted to help us get started as soon as possible & help get things moving. Guy's excellent communication skills were displayed throughout the project, his calming demeanor took the stress out of every decision, always taking the time to help us understand the options and work out the best move to make.On the every rare occasion he doesn't answer the phone, he calls back very quickly which exceeded our expectations. For us, clear and easy communication was something we really wanted and was delivered alongside quality workmanship with a focus on working with a limited budget. Guy also did additional things for us along the way (things we wouldn't have thought to ask for) to make ensure a quality result (e.g. extra ceiling plastering to ensure no joins, lots of attention on the tiling to ensure a flush finish in all the areas where there were different width tiles and floor heights). We couldn't be happier with the result and how the project went under Guy's management.”
