“My wife and I decided to split our major renovation project into two phases. Having learned of Turrell through local advertising after the 1st phase had been done, we included them in our short list for the 2nd phase (alongside the first phase builder and one other). The quality of the initial consultation and subsequent discussions leading to receipt of the quote were top notch and we were very surprised to find the detailed quote very competitive so we went with them. That set the scene for an exceptionally good experience with the team. Work was done quickly and to an excellent standard. We elected to stay in the house while the work was done and the team managed the logistics of that very well, maintaining a spotless site. We tend to regard cost overruns as a 'given' with building projects - which seemed to cause some amusement to Josh and the team who assured us that the detailed consultation is meant to minimise that risk. While we were initially dubious, the regular interim reports kept showing that we were +/- bang on price, including PCs and sure enough, when the final invoice arrived, the work had come in marginally under budget. We are delighted with the end product and had an excellent experience throughout our dealings with Neil and all of his team. Totally recommend them for renovation work.”

“We required some house plan drawings to submit for our renovations. Ukalovic Design was highly recommended to us by an architect, who said that a draftsman could do the work we were looking to have completed. Jay from Ukalovic Design came out for a site visit. Jay showed up on time and our first impression was one of professionalism and experience. Jay listened to our requirements and was more than helpful in providing advice with building codes and specifications. Jay had our drawings submitted for certification in a short time frame. We found Jay to be in constant communication with us and he would always reply to our phone calls, emails and text messages. When we required extra changes to our plans, Jay would accommodate our wishes. We have already recommended Ukalovic Design to our builder and friends.”

Joumana has always kept our budget requirements in the front of her mind and has given us every opportunity to make decisions based around our budget while also making sure we get the design we have always wanted with a high standard finish. Joumana has been very flexible where we have made changes and provided excellent advice about how to proceed and the relative cost of things. Joumana is assisted by an excellent team of professionals that help co-ordinate the renovation. Our build is on schedule and on budget and we are very grateful that Joumana has lead the project and made life so much easier for us.
