Bib'n Brace started in 2016 with the goal to reduce the amount of timber going to landfill. We build a range of hardwood furniture for any custom job. We have a wide range of products, our primary product being recycled timber entry doors. We work with local architects, builders, interior designers, and home renovators to add a touch of elegance to your home. A carpenter by trade the founder Bruce has run manufacturing businesses for decades, these businesses produce shutters, doors, and custom furniture. Bib'n Brace has a reliable team full of qualified carpenters and excellent problem-solvers to build something unique for your home. Our commitment to sustainable practices and environmentally-friendly solutions will ensure that we continue to create products that are purposeful and have a positive impact on the environment.

Bruce and his team from Bib'n Brace did a fabulous job of our front door. Made from a solid piece of recycled hardwood complete with polished divots showing where the original nails were and giving texture and a strengthened glass window, our door stands solid, imposing, impactful and is often commented on by friends who visit. We love the door, and the guys did a sterling job of putting it in place with a matching surround. Try them out, you will NOT be disappointed.

Our first project we required a custom-made mantle for our fireplace, set within a Hamptons context. We wanted it to be black however, with simple form & rich character you could clearly see with such a dark colour. The outcome was a great collaboration of design ideas between us & the Bib team. When it came time 6 months later for the kitchen to be re modelled our rangehood over the cooker needed a rustic touch added to tie into other architectural elements of the home & break up all the navy blue. Bib'n Brace made a mini version of our fireplace mantle to top it off.

Bruce and the crew at Bib n Brace produced 5 beautiful bespoke pieces for my warehouse conversion home. 3 beautiful rich brown internal barn doors, a centrepiece light pendant I designed and a statement piece entry door. I couldn’t be happier with the results, these pieces are commented on every time someone enters my home. Thank you team!! I can’t wait for the next stage of my project where i will certainly be adding more pieces to the master suite

Highest quality design and carpentry, incorporating wood we salvaged from our demolished house. We have worked with Bib and Brace over several years, and found Bruce to be responsive, maintaining thorough oversight whilst offering creative input when asked/ needed. He produced stairs, bench top, hardwood beam covers and a front door for our new house. We would highly recommend him.
