“Wow! I hired homestory to replace about 10 doors in my 1984 track home. What a difference the doors made...but I am jumping ahead. Homestory arrived on time for the initial appointment. I received an estimate for the doors I was to have replaced. I was given the option of re-using my hardward, purchasing my own hardware or purchasing from Homestory. I purchased my doors and hardware from Homestory. I was extrodinarily happy with the result. The doors and hardware are beautiful. The doors arrived in the time frame I was quoted and hung without a problem. I had regular interior doors replaced, double sliding closet doors replaced, a hinged door in the laundry room replaced, a door between the garage and kitchen replaced and a funky door that houses the furnance. All are BEAUTIFUL and were installed with no problems.”

“Homewood Lumber has all the lumber products I use in stock. When I need hard-to-find products, they will order them and get them to me asap. I can always count on their prices to be competitive, and usually don't even 'shop them' anymore. Don't be fooled by the Big Box stores who charge DOUBLE what Homewood does for crown moulding and baseboard. As for pressure treated wood, the Big Box stores sell you Pressure Treat wood that has more stain than decay resistant chemicals. Pressure treated from Homewood, like all REAL lumber yards is also Douglas Fir, not the Hem-Fir junk that the Big Box stores fool you with. Having a door shop that can produce replacement doors, as well as custom doors makes life easy on my business. Mostly, it is the people at Homewood that make the difference though. Knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. I've been a licensed General Contractor for 42 years. Homewood reminds me of the way lumber yards used to be! Scott Hewett, License #285520.”

“Hi Rick and Peggy: I just wanted to let you know that Nancy and I were discussing our Phantom screens the other night. We live on the top of a hill, with a Western and Southern exposure. The sunlight is intense. When we roll down the Phantom screens, the temperature feels like it drops by as much as 20°. Further, we are subject to significant winds, and we never fear that the Phantom screens will be torn from the house. They suffer barely a flutter. Having you install our Phantom screens was one of the best investments we made in this house. Thank you for your super product and excellent service. Best, Dan”
