“I hired Vick after an initial consultation with him to replace our pantry doors, bathroom pocket door and two other main story doors. The pantry doors were in disrepair and their frame wasn't installed properly as it allowed the doors to be pushed further in than they were supposed to. The bathroom pocket door was warped and, as a result, wouldn't lock properly which is an issue in and of itself. The door to my office and another storage room were also in need of new doors to allow for ventilation and sound attenuation.
Vick agreed to remove all existing doors and discard of them while installing one double pantry door, one swing door and one pocket door matched to our existing hardware. The doors were custom made and painted and we were very impressed with their look and feel. You can feel the quality and weight when they are opened and closed. Additionally, Vanair fixed several previous issues included re-installing shelf brackets, replacement of the pocket door guide (which was warped), installation of door stops to prevent hyperextension of pantry doors, painting of the washroom casing and general finishing.
Overall, we were very impressed with their level of professionalism, quality of workmanship, and attention to small details that make a huge difference. I will hire them again for our second floor early next year!”

“Alan has done a particularly meticulous job of glass estimation, removal, installation and cleanup in our home using the original aluminum frames. Every outdoor frame in the home had its glass removed and replaced, all 103 panes of double-glazed glass. The size and extent of the job were quite large for a residence, yet Alan and crew covered every base; replacing old sliding door hardware to contracting a wooden/glass door replacement. It was clear that Splash had all the necessary equipment for every part of the job, from very large and heavy view-panes to angled skylight panes above the 2nd story. Needless to say we highly recommend Alan and Splash Glass.”

Dave even made our existing angle iron symmetric to both garage doors. We were not sure if which colour of weather stripping to go with, so Dave ordered in 3 different colours so that we could decide at the time of installation. This type of flexibility was really helpful for us because we were in the process of painting our house and deciding upon colour.
