The Electric Crew are a small crew of passionate and expert electricians. We are based in Kew and specialise in high end domestic projects that often involve home automation and modern technology and lighting design. Of course, we also love smaller projects and service work and we always ensure the highest quality workmanship and service at competitive prices. Building relationships is the core of our business and we have many loyal clients who rely on us for all of their electrical needs. We have ongoing relationships with landscape architects, interior designers, and architects so we stay in the know about the latest in outdoor garden lighting and interior lighting design. Tom and the crew were introduced to me by the folks at Haiku home - the importers of the (infamous - but entirely appropriately named) "Big Ass Fans". The install in my house was complicated by both (a) a pitched roof (b) existing configuration of wiring and (c) limited access. Tom and the team did a fantastic, clean and efficient job of installing my fan. I've additionally always wanted to dip my toe in the "Smart home" arena, and Tom took the time to outline the options, install an initial system, configure everything and show me how it all works. Fantastic team - that I'll definitely be using again. Highly recommended.

The Electric Crew were first class. We had Tom come out, with no notice, on a Sunday evening as we had no power. From that point forward the communication they provided was first class, as were the repairs. Ben and Rob were terrific as well in keeping me informed as the repairs proceeded. They even dealt with Citypower for us. Highly recommended.

Tom came to the rescue when we had trouble with a circuit shorting. I was interstate, and my 18 year old was home alone. Tom went out of his way to drop past, check the system, and put my mind at rest. We are delighted to know he is in our area, and will definitely be calling on his services again!

Commented: Installing pendant light over dining tableI think this is personal preference, and, as Tribble.... says, it depends on use. You could also consider looping the cable decoratively, so you could potentially adjust the height later if you wanted...
