The "Hampton Chair Co." evolved when we began a frustrating search for quality outdoor chairs for our garden. Much to our dismay, we discovered many poorly made, mass-produced cheap styles which didn't last in outdoor conditions - not even undercover. We also found some beautifully made chairs but they were extremely expensive! So, being a qualified carpenter and my wife an interior enthusiast, we decided to produce our own. Friends and family soon began wanting chairs of their own and several furniture stores approached us as well ... ... so the "Hampton Chair Co." was born.
