Sandwich Furniture

Custom designed plywood furniture made from locally sourced material and hardware, inspired by mid century design. My work is largely inspired by midcentury design, what most people would call 'retro'. I like to keep things simple in design yet functional and beautiful to look at. I use hardwood plywood and never cover the edges, leaving the layers of the plywood exposed as a feature. For pieces that require legs I use local made hairpin legs or, where available, I use timber legs, either square or round tapered.
