Scout Textiles

Scout is a small, well, really small studio in Perth, Western Australia. We are inspired by things right here in our own town, our own backyard. Natural fibres are a big factor in everything we do. Amy Hawkes has sewn and stitched since single digits. Her Mum taught her all the basics and yes indeed, still checks her seams. Predominately coming from a career in photography and film you could say that being creative is a must. 3 kids came along and kinda changed things....... Hand stitching, photographing and stenciling, Amy has produced a small line of unique wares for the home. I absolutely love what we are doing here and its exciting to continue to learn and develop new ideas and techniques.
