“I worked with Mark Wang from Designs Autralia to design and create a new kitchen. Mark visited and consulted with me over a period of weeks while together, we panned the outcome I was hoping for. He provided drawings and samples of materials and answered all my phone calls and inquiries with patience and professional expertise. I was extremely happy with the result, both with the artistic outcome which was beyond even my best expectations, and with the overall quality of the cabinetry he provided. I would recommend him very highly on all aspects of the work. He is not only extremely experienced, but he is a principled person ready to take full responsibility if the work fell in any way short of his promise. “My wife and I spent many months looking for the right display TV unit for our lounge room. We had removed a fireplace and had a fixed space to work with and no one except Ambrose Furniture could or would spend the time and effort working with us to give us exactly what we needed. The attention to detail was excellent and the end result was just right. We met many times, the guys did numerous 3D renders, specs and quotes as we continued to massage it to meet our needs. We even met the foreman of the factory at certain stages just to ensure everyone was on the same page. We also required a couple of shelves to be adjustable and to have some strip lighting to a couple of our feature items. They sourced this and routed a couple of channels under the lip so that the strip could not be seen at all. The lighting consultant they used, Life LED Lighting was also very flexible and knowledgeable.
We are now having a coffee table (with a shelf below), designed and built by Ambrose as it seems yet again, what we want, which is quality solid timber in the stain we want, just is not available in the general furniture market.
Just as an aside, we had previously had Ambrose Furniture build 2 dining tables of different lengths but the same width so we could butt them up for big family occasions. This was many years ago, so we were very happy to find that they had not gone out of business, just relocated to New Farm.”
