“The service starts with the custom drawings and prices provided by their Washington office. They provide a price and drawing for your review in less then 24 hours in most cases. Upon acceptance it is about 5 weeks to have the door shipped across country to me. The doors are well crated and arrive in good condition. The product itself is well made and we have had little, if any issues with their workmanship. I have purchased well over 100 doors from this company. The California office has also provided us with technical support on their track and hardware systems whenever we have needed advice. I would recommend Ranch House to any dealer or homeowner and have their doors on my own home.”

“A true professional from beginning to end! From my first phone call to Steve at Alight Overhead Door, I knew I had finally found the right person to help us realize our dream garage door while working within the limits of our budget. We purchased our first home in April 2013 however I had been clipping ideas for a realistic wood like rustic steel garage door for months. I contacted several independent garage installation companies, as well as a commercial big brand name company but did not receive any personalized suggestions as to how to achieve the look I wanted within a certain budget. Instead I was given very few options of mediocre (at best) wood like steel garage door options that literally made me cringe at how phony they looked. I had also driven by neighborhoods with a higher price tag than our home is in to scour ideas for garage doors. I left a note at one home that has a wood like garage door that shouted "class and personality!" to find out what type of door it was and who installed it with the slightest hope that it would actually be affordable. The homeowner graciously contacted me with Alight's information and upon speaking with Steve (company owner), I was reassured of my ideas and pleasantly surprised that our dream garage door was well within our budget! Steve arrived early for our first appointment, came fully prepared with brochures and hardware samples which he let us borrow (clavos, handles, etc), followed through with each subsequent phone call and most importantly, perfectly installed our door. “When I built my house 4 years ago my builder installed a state of the art Wayne Dalton iDrive garage door opener that turned out to be the biggest POS known to man. Not surprising the company yanked them not too far after being on the market and not surprising that my builder (who is now defunct) continued to install them. It never worked properly and a few months ago went out all together. Worse, my cable was messed up so I couldn't even manually get my door to open. After spending months of dragging my trash can through my house and down my front steps to put on the curb for weekly pick-up I decided it was time to invest in a new garage door opener and cable. Of course I turned to my trusty internet for advice. Alexis answered his phone when I called and was available to meet in the time frame that I needed. He called before arriving and showed up with a happy smile on his adorable, Midwestern face (Alexis came to my town from the Midwest to open his business). Alexis used to work for a major garage door company before branching out on his own so he has years of experience in the industry and is very familiar with various brands and types of garage door components. He took great time and care to get rid of the iDrive and put together the new Lift Master which for my house involved a little more elbow grease to get a new bolt just right on my garage door. He helped me to program my new keypad which will help a lot this upcoming New Years Eve in case I lose my keys again in another concert pit I won't have to call a locksmith at 3AM. I highly recommend Alexis and this garage door repair company! Support local and give him a call the next time you need help in that department. You will be pleased.”
