My wife and I cannot speak highly enough of A Fox Constructions! In early 2015, after around ten years of renovate/detonate/sell deliberations, we signed a contract with A Fox to renovate our double-brick, pre-war cottage. The renovation was comprehensive, consisting of an extension (living area) and a reconfiguration and revitalisation of the existing house (surfaces, paint inside and out, appliances etc). As first-time renovators, we’d heard renovating could be both incredibly exciting and incredibly stressful. Alex’s easy-going, friendly manner put us at ease from the start, ensuring our experience was far more the former than the latter. He was easy to contact, well-organised, patient and polite. There were times he had to tell us one (or more) of our ideas might not work, but he would always underpin his point with sound logic and offer us an alternative solution. As a leader, he has built a strong culture in his team. His boys were always polite and respectful to us and our neighbours and the site was always clean and tidy. Their work was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. His sub-contractors were reliable and skilled. The project was completed on time and on budget. We moved back into our beautiful, newly renovated home just 4 months (original estimate 4-6 months) after the project commenced. We love living here and thank our lucky stars we decided to keep the character only an older home can offer. Go with A Fox! You’ll be glad you did.
