Jake and the Aspire team are nearing completion on our major, inner city renovation. From as early as our council approval process, Jake and the Aspire team were impressive. Having sought us out, early meetings were conducted with enthusiasm, professionalism and – importantly – good manners! Jake and Greg were both complimentary of and excited by our architects design, and were thoughtful and responsive to our tender. Our site is challengingly small, the original house nearly one hundred years old, with no rear or side access – so there were no shortage of obstacles to overcome including neighbourly concerns. Jake, Shane and Aaron managed these challenges and the interactions with the neighbours with characteristic professionalism, and a determination to maintain open and positive communications. As the job progressed, Jake’s deep project management expertise coupled with intelligence, flexibility, critical thinking and the dedication and hard work of the team, provided us with confidence that the outcome would not only meet but exceed our expectations. Jake was keen to look at the work in new ways– not only providing and sharing his own opinion, but also listening and considering other points of view. The results speak for themselves; variances to the contract were less than 5% of the total price and the delay for practical completion was 1 week out of 6 months. Throughout the process Jake and the team have worked effectively with our architect who has similarly high levels of praise. They are easy to get along with, communicate frequently and concisely and are professional at every turn. We are confident that through the way they worked together as a team alongside our architect and other contractors that the creative elements have been practically and impressively realised and we are absolutely delighted with the end results. We cannot recommend Jake and the team at Aspire highly enough.

I used Jake and Aspire Constructions for a small (by their standards) extension to our house. My first positive impression of the company was via the quoting process. Jake was running a bit late and phoned me to update his timelines - not a problem for me but a nice courtesy. Jake was very thorough in explaining how his company operates - everything is very transparent and communicated via Evernote - which left me with a very positive impression. When his quote did not come back the cheapest, I was not surprised. Nevertheless I chose to hire Aspire because I was very comfortable that the job was going to run on time and be completed to their high exacting standards - which it did! My wife and I are thrilled with the work done by Aspire and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Aspire Constructions project managed and delivered our renovation with professionalism and gave us the highest quality finishes. They were on time, on budget and always kept us up to date on the progress of the project. They worked closely with us and our architect to understand our requirements and collaboratively solve design issues. In particular, they were sensistive to our desire to maintain and enhance the heritage values of our property while also incorporating sustainable design elements.
