Bayside Built

We engaged Doug and his team at Bayside Built for a complete internal and external renovation and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Right from the initial meeting through to completion the team were a pleasure to deal with and Doug's attention to detail was evident from the accuracy of the initial tender to the quality of the finished product. Doug has chosen his tradespeople well. They were a hard working team, always on time and kept the worksite extremely clean and tidy at all times, with thoughtful consideration for our neighbours as well. We would highly recommend Bayside Built.

Our experience with Doug & his crew was a good one. Doug was willing to do a bathroom reno for us…. definitely a job much smaller than most of the Bayside Built jobs! Our bathroom had undergone a reno decades ago, but under that there was still some ye olde world plumbing & flooring etc. from the very early history of the home. It brought to light some scraps of a SMH newspaper dated 1923 that had been laid on old concrete flooring. The steps to do the work were explained to us before the job commenced & as progress was made. If anything unexpected popped up it was discussed with us and sorted out. The various workers involved were all very respectful when entering the house with tools etc. & cleaned up at the end of each day. We were very happy with the result of the efforts of Bayside Built management & team members.

We searched for a long time to find a building company who could help us fulfil our dream of renovating our Federation style home. It was a very difficult and frustrating time, it was also scary as we had never done this before and had heard many horror stories. Doug from Bayside Built was one of the many builders who came in to visit us and go through the house listening to us explain our dream. We kept going back to Doug as he just felt like a good fit, he was professional, knowledgeable and he always turned up on time, most never even phoned us to say they weren't coming. The work was done in really good time, we met at the house once a week to go through it and the whole team were happy and surprisingly tidy for a construction site, we felt they were respectful of our home. The work was done in the time agreed upon. Any changes or extras were discussed and options given for time and price, we worked together well and the only change in the quoted price were for things that we decided we wanted. The build has finished, any defects have been quickly rectified and we have to say that we were probably one of the lucky ones, the whole process has been exciting and our home is exquisite, we are so in love. I couldn't reccommend Bayside Built any higher and if we do this again they will definately the team we want to work alongside. Paula & Marina

Bayside Built erected my 2 story corrugated ‘shed’ with mezzanine, turning it into a dreamy designer art studio of a whole other level. Their professionalism, work ethic, clear communication and attention to detail was incredible throughout. I couldn’t recommend Doug, Rob and Calum highly enough.

I was very happy with the work of Doug and his team. They were outstanding at every stage of the renovation, from planning to completing the work. We have chosen Baysidebuilt (Doug) to build our forever home. His attention to detail is incredible. Doug kept us in the loop through out the whole process so we always knew what's happening on site.
