“Our house is circa 1890's workers cottage, narrow block with poor access. Prior extension had left us with a space that was both not usable and and poorly built. We wanted the back part of the house removed, rebuilt in an open modern style. Main areas renovated were Kitchen, Dining, Laundry, Bathroom and outdoor area. Swell homes were extremely helpful from the start, very positive approach to our job and a willingness to provide guidance from the outset and for the duration of the job. They were flexible and allowed for alterations along the way. The project and site manager were contactable at all times and we were given regular updates about the current work and upcoming schedules of work. We used cost-plus which suited our job and budget well and would recommended Swell to anyone planning a renovation.”

“I received 4 quotes to renovate my bathroom and laundry. Broadwater Builds was not the most expensive nor the cheapest. I was impressed with the professional approach of the company. I was given a detailed schedule of the work to be done. Louis also kept in constant contact with me, during the renovation, with updates when tradesmen were coming to my house. During the renovation I requested the work be completed by a certain date due to my sister coming from UK for a short holiday. “After initial consulting quotes, we had no hesitation in selecting Mindful Homes to do major renovations to the bedroom, en-suite, front entry and alfresco areas. “I had initially commenced searching for a builder by going to all the 'big' known builders and became so disillusioned with how they reacted to my list of requirements that I soon realised that I needed to find a small niche builder who can cater for my specific needs. This would be my 3rd home so I already knew what I wanted and what I could afford. I found the perfect builder in Create Homes. In fact I ended up forfeiting my initial deposit I had already paid to another builder so I could then commit and sign a contract with Create Homes. I found them highly professional in everything they did. They communicated with me constantly and I had access to the builder Matt who is a wonderful person to work with. Matt and I spent many hours going over all the detail to ensure that they built the home to my specification. Matt's knowledge of building is extremely high which gave me assurance that Create Homes would build me a strong sturdy home to last for many years. The quality and workmanship was extremely high as I was an extremely fussy owner therefore my expectations were very high- I was not disappointed as I was very happy with the final completion of my home. Matt had a good control over deadlines and the home progressed at an extraordinary speed such that it was finished within 19 weeks. Create homes did not sacrifice quality but rather it was their attention to detail in ensuring that supply of materials,goods, tradesmen all occurred in a timely manner and therefore no time was wasted. In the end the 19 weeks build saved me money in that I was able to shift from the rental property into my home very quickly. I appreciated having the ability to communicate with the builder and the other Directors which meant that decisions could be made quickly. Would I build with this builder again 'Definitely". It was truly a wonderful experience and I would recommend them to my family and friends as I have confidence in their ability to build and deliver a really good home.
