“Chris and his team are amazing. Communication, honesty and transparency is second to none - compared to the other local well renowned Brisbane builders (the ones all over facebook and instagram) Chris was a breath of fresh air. Chris has worked extremely hard with us to realise and deliver our ambitious and challenging (oversized!) project in Clayfield. Right in the thick of unprecedented increasing material prices, rising interest rates and availability of labour and materials - Chris has been in the trenches with us, helping us navigate this volatile time in the construction industry, working closely with us to look at options where we can save money. Chris is a problem solver, always positive and has been resilient, a rock for us, in the face of what have been some very adverse and unique situations. We have been so happy and impressed with Chris and his team on our $1m+ project - their professionalism, workmanship, quality of work and work rate is phenomenal. Although our project is not yet finished, we have no doubt that it will meet (and no doubt) exceed our expectations and make reality what we have been dreaming about for the past 6 years. “It is a pleasure to write a testimonial for Stephensen Constructions. My house was built in 1903 and very little had been done in the following century. Stage 1 of the renovation was a complete strip out of the upper level, and new build downstairs to make a two level home. Shane and his team offer a high level of personalised service, their attention to detail is first class, and the team and all contractors were always respectful, approachable and professional. Coming from a design background, I wanted to be involved in the building process. I was always consulted regarding any changes which needed to be made and Shane always responded to any questions I had. We have just completed Stage 2, which was a deck, garages and fences, and once again the process was seamless, with the same high quality finish. Shane and the team are very well organised, with quality workmanship throughout and attention to detail. The process has been extremely enjoyable and I am thrilled with the outcome of my home. “I engaged The Construct Group, when I was renovating extensively my house in Gisborne. Peter Lewin meticulosley organised all the trades, and had every thing very well managed. The workmanship from demolition to completion was excellent. I am extremely happy with the work undertaken and the end result. “We have just moved into our beautiful home built by McLachlan Homes. We could not be happier with the end result - it has surpassed our expectations. Our experience with the sales and design team was exceptional. Adam was extremely patient, methodical, professional and committed to providing us with a design solution that met all our requirements. Building a house can be stressful and undoubtedly has challenges and issues that require resolution. Our experience was no different, however, while challenges arose through the process we received an excellent and understanding response to any of our concerns. A slow start to construction was remedied with a completion date occurring several months in advance of the anticipated end date. All trade personnel working on our project were polite, helpful and respectful. Again any issues were resolved readily. Cost variations were minimal and variations were the result of our choices to include significant improvements to the project. I would happily recommend McLachlan Homes for anyone considering building a new home.”
