“Hired JD and his company to extend our deck, reinforce as needed and to install a glass panel in the middle of the deck railing to add some pop and allow a view of our pond. JD and his crew did an amazing job - they evaluated and reinforced the structure supporting deck (correcting many mistakes by the original builder); extended/rebuilt the deck itself (I know it is small but ALL the nails lines up straight); installed the deck rail and installed the reinforced, tempured glass section. They also stained the deck. They showed up on time every day on time, worked a full day, kept the work site clean and tidy - they also listened to my concerns about a nearby tree and wisteria - they took great care to keep both unharmed by the reconstruction. They offered many different options so I could get the featues I wanted - I think their prices were on target. I would hire them again in a heart beat.”

“My husband and I are both retired and have a small business rehabbing homes. Joe worked on 1 rehab and then did repairs on another rental. The last home we did was the largest undertaking yet. Joe and his crew finished a basement which also included adding a full bath. They upgraded a porch, kitchen and painted the entire interior. Joe is patient, a good listener and offers creative solutions to problem areas. He is knowledgeable about construction, pays attention to detail and is especially talented with finished carpentry work. The home sold the first month on the market and the buyer's agent said it was one of the best remodels he had seen.”

“We would, once again, like to thank you for the wonderful job you and your crew did on our new deck and sunroom. With your expertise and insight, our thought of a "screened in porch" turned out to be a "room addition" that more than exceeded our wildest dream! The quality of the workmanshp was more than professional, the attention to detail was outstanding, and the entire crew could not have been more professional, courteous, and friendly. They were always diligent about cleaning up after each day/phase of the job. Your willingness and ability to go above and beyond to get the job done to our expectations was greatly appreciated. All the details, such as getting the logs and the color of the siding to match our house, and going to great lengths to get our slate floor to be beautiful were not overlooked. We would, without reservation, highly recommend you and your crew to anyone wanting quality workmanship projects done in their home. Thank you again. It was a pleasure doing business with you.”

“Highlands Home Services leader Shelby Baird did an excellent job on our bathroom project. The cost was on par with other quotes we received. Quality of work is outstanding. Shelby was always sure to maintain a clean workspace and keep our house free of debris during our renovation. Our project involved remodeling a bathroom in our house built in 1970. There were several challenges Shelby uncovered and overcame. Our project involved taking the bathroom walls, floor, and ceiling down to the studs., Shelby reworked plumbing, rerouted and modified electric, removed a very heavy bathtub, installed floor and wall tile, installed a new toilet, shower, and vanity. He painted walls, installed shower doors, put in all new plumbing and light fixtures, and all associated wooden trim. Shelby has a very broad skillset and was able to work through any problem he encountered. Additionally, Shelby is very polite and was respectful of our home. We would highly recommend Highlands Home Services for any type of renovation work needed in your home. The quality of Shelby's work is second to none.”

“My husband and I couldn't be happier with our kitchen remodel. Like any job, things occur along the way and Andy made sure everything was to our satisfaction. I was most impressed with the trim and tile work as it is such an important detail to any remodel. The quality of cabinets and granite to choose from was a step above the other bids we had and Siegel replaces baseboard trim when laying new floors which no other contractor included in the bid. I would definitely work with Siegel Design Center again.”

“Two months prior to my due date with our second child, a contractor we hired to rearrange our master bedroom walked off the job. We were left with half completed drywall, wires hanging from our ceiling, and a completely destroyed carpet. Seth and SDC came in and not only fixed the sub-par job the previous contractor had done, but exceeded all of our expectations. He is professional, courteous, and absolutely saved the day. Seth and SDC also converted the stairs in our 1942 cape cod from a dangerously steep angle. The end result was perfect. He followed plans to the utmost detail, and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result! We are now considering adding an addition onto our home, and will not be contacting anyone but Seth and SDC. To find someone that is not only incredibly talented at what they do, but is also professional, timely, and kind is worth its wait in gold. We cannot recommend Seth or SDC enough!”

“Our experience with David Bauer Custom Homes was first class. They remodeled our kitchen and put on an addition to our home that included a sunroom with fireplace, an exercize room and a greatly enlarged master closet. Under the addition they put a basement which contains a man cave, a wine cellar and a lot of storage space. The company is professional and accommodating in its desire that the finished job be just what you want. Suggestions were made that enhanced the final outcome of our project. The detail of the workmanship is something we really enjoy in our home. We give this company a definite thumbs up!”

“I had called several contractors to come out review my job and provide an estimate. Many never called back or came and didn’t follow up with a quote. Houzz sent a lead to Cody/Little Home Repair. He came out at the agreed upon time. Looked at the project and confidently stated he could do the job. He explained what he anticipated and showed me where the water was gaining entrance. He followed up with the quote exactly as promised. He explained that once they got into the wall the quote could change but didn’t think it would be significant. We agreed on price and the work began. I was throughly impressed with his team. They all worked great together. They put up barriers to keep dust to a minimum. Every evening they cleaned up. They laid down carpet protectors wherever they would be walking. Because there was damage to a weight bearing seal plate, he suggested contacting a structural engineer. We took his advice and the engineer provided additional expertise to the project. Project is finished and I am very pleased with the results.”
