Paul and his expert team did a fabulous job on our outdoor deck and roof as well as correcting internal structural work left by a substandard builder. We were excited to come home and see the progress everyday. They have done a quality job with nothing being too much hassle and the result being better than we ever expected. They were a great team, friendly, neat and professional. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Champness Builders used qualified tradies to deliver a quality finish. They came back to finish off those tiny annoying little jobs at the end. They put up with me being on site daily (sometimes twice daily) and were great to deal with. The house won a heritage award. And, most importantly, we were as happy with them and their word at the end of the job as we were at the beginning!

I found the Champness team responsive, flexible and professional throughout the our renovation. They were great at keeping us informed about progress as well as foreshadowing potential hiccups in some of our trickier requirements, like installing a range hood right in the middle of a thick concrete lintel that blocked an old chimney. Each contractor was pleasant to have in our home and great at tidying up after themselves and happy to field questions from us. I really appreciated the filly itemised quote and billing, as well as the clear work schedule. I would happily use them again.

Champness Builders are an established Canberra family business. The have renovated my house in 2002 and have recently added a flat which joins onto the main house. They solved difficult problems of interfacing the new part of our house with the old, coming up with cost effective clever solutions. Their work is top quality and they are honest and reliable. My house looks absolutely beautiful and I highly recommend them.

We went to Champness on a recommendation. Throughout the whole project I had no difficulties in approaching or dealing with them. We have a heritage listed house so there were some additional difficulties with our renovation. They had good ideas of what would work but also worked with us to put our ideas into reality I love our house and am really happy we used Champness to make our vision a reality.
