To anyone needing an excellent builder I used CCB for major renovations on my Newport home, that took 9 weeks to complete. My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with the results and want to offer the following: 1. All the staff that worked on my home were punctual, considerate and extremely professional. 2. They cleaned up every day, even when i said it was unnecessary. 3. The work that was done, was done to an exceptionally high standard...higher than i had encountered on other previous renovations. There were several opportunities where they could have easily taken short cuts. Instead they took the long more thorough path even though they had quoted on a fixed price basis and their costs had increased. 4. David Bryant was on site checking progress/solving problems/providing better ways of doing things and keeping me up to date on an almost daily basis. 5. I can truly say that i got more than i had asked for in the original quote. 6. I wish that i had used David and his team for previous renovations on my past homes. We hired David & his team for our renovation, which was the restoration of a cottage. The carpenters were highly skilled, and went above & beyond. David took a lot of time to ensure that the overall scope of works was done efficiently, effectively & within code. The building works included: re-framing & bracing, cladding of weatherboard, door & window installation, sub-floor repairs, roof structure, internal wall linings & decking. We couldn't ask for a better team of builders, they were all very professional, skilled, friendly, tidy & enthusiastic. We would highly recommend Core Carpentry for any building works.

The team from Core Carpentry & Building did a great job on renovations to my home at Avalon Beach. They were reliable, friendly and tidy. I originally had David Bryant quote on one job. It was completed to such a high standard, on time and on budget that I have since organised the Core Carpentry team to return to build a pergola, fit new skirting boards, install new windows and fix weather board cladding to the exterior of my home.
