Having worked in the construction industry since the age of 16, originally in Montreal, Canada, company founder Francis-Olivier Morneau takes pride in breaking the mould of a traditional ‘tradie’. He has a track record of delivering premium quality builds, to spec and on time, whilst maintaining a clean and hassle free worksite. With a background in carpentry as his main trade Francis also has forged many other skills over the years, welding, steel fabrication, ground work, concreting just to name a few. He is fully equipped to execute and oversee all stages of the construction process. Francis is fully qualified with a Certificate III in Carpentry/Joinery. Additionally certified with Certificate IV in Building and Construction (High Achievement and Dedication Award).

Initially Francis Oliver and his fabulous team rescued our 1886 terrace house from some serious structural damage below floor level. They then proceeded to delivered a sparking new timber floor and internal renovations of the highest quality. To say we are delighted with end result may even be a bit of an understatement. During the 6 week project we also learnt that Francis is man with a strong commitment to his client and has high ethical standards. We would have no hesitation recommended Francis to any prospective client (as indeed we have done for family & friends already).

I'm writing this review 1 year after moving into a beautiful home built by Francis and his team. When you live in a house every day for a year, its easy to spot little things about the house that reflect poor workmanship or design, and make you wish you had spent that little bit extra at the start to stop them appearing later. 1 year in and I'm still having difficulty spotting those 'annoying' things! Instead, everyday I'm reminded of what a great job was done on our house. I never thought a well designed and built house could elicit that type of feeling but it has in our case. That type of house can only come from a builder who is a perfectionist and who thinks through problems and solves them before they emerge 12mths after you move in. When so many people have problems with their builder, we can easily say 'we love ours'. I can easily recommend Francis and the team because its in his 'nature' to build great houses and I don't think he can build them any other way!
