“It is a pleasure to be able to recommend Greg Bond of Atelier Bond to provide architectural design services. We worked closely with Greg to design our family home and recently moved in! The brief was to design an upgrade and extension to an early 1900s villa preserving the character of the original home at the same time linking it to a modern open plan extension to meet the needs of a young family. Greg was thorough in his ground work to understand our needs and wants and provided innovative suggestions to maximise space and light and minimise cost. Greg provided advice regarding the Council approval process and when we faced difficulties with Council approval (due to poor handling of the application by Council) Greg provided fantastic support to get the approval for the design we wanted. Greg was flexible, patient and responsive and, importantly, upfront and transparent in relation to fees. Greg's attention to detail and commitment to ensuring we ended up with a high quality home that meets our needs was evident from day one and continued even beyond the scope of his formal engagement as he kept a close eye on our builder! We are absolutely loving our "new" home and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Atelier Bond.”

“Although being in the early stages and having had to make the decision to a large renovation or a re build, Chris Rowlands was probably the most patient person I`ve ever met after previous discussions with three builders. I was so impressed, no wheeler dealing, no pie in the sky ideas costing me a fortune, it was an either or and the best way to go about it to suit MY lifestyle. This is why I am commending him as he stood out showing he was interested in my ideas and actually came up with far better ones as being in my sixties he would have to be in charge of the project from woe to go and I have the utmost faith he will do that. I have seen his designs in unusual situations (i.e. homes nestled between huge Moreton Bay Fig Trees) and am very, very impressed that he as an architect makes use of the surroundings not just flattening a block and putting up another block house with concrete all around, no trees and no lawns asap.”
