Dean, the Owner, has a strong background in design having worked as an worked as an Architectural Draftsman for several years for several years before working as a building supervisor for both project and custom home builders. Further to this, the De Petra family have a long and trusted history of building quality homes throughout Perth. Dean is an extremely fussy builder with an exceptional eye for detail. He thinks carefully through all aspects of the build and takes a very hands on approach. With our home, Dean took a very flexible approach to the build and was always adaptable to change and seeking the best options. Our home presented some unique challenges, some new to Dean, but his willingness to find the best solution was second to none. Dean comes highly recommended as a quality builder in the Perth area. Dean’s late father, Joe De Petra, would be extremely proud of the quality workmanship and customer service provided.

Everyone talks about how stressful building a home can be! We never felt this stress when we designed & built our home through LUXE Builders & Designers. The design process itself was thorough & they really listened to our family's needs & wants when it came to drawing up the perfect home for us & our lifestyle. Deans knowledge & experience within the building industry is obvious & he saved us lots of money in the long run by trouble shooting & coming up with current trend suggestions & design ideas. The build itself couldn't have been smoother, we honestly can't fault it. Anytime we visited the site, it was clean & tidy & we felt our new home was being treated respectfully & with care from day 1. Dean is fussy & so are we, so it was comforting to know he was overlooking the entire build process & accepting nothing below what we expected. Communication from LUXE was fantastic & we felt 'in the loop' throughout the build. 4 years later we are still in love with our home & we still receive many compliments about it. We wouldn't hesitate to build with LUXE Builders & Designers again (if we ever want to leave this one!) & we highly recommend them to anyone who is interesting in building a quality built home with a trustworthy & reliable building company. After having built two houses with LUXE so far I am extremely happy with the quality of the product and customer service provided prior, during and after the build process. LUXE is a smaller 'boutique' builder compared to the big 'project' builders and as such I dealt with the same person from start to finish. I was also able to call after hours should any queries arise, which is a great change after having built with a project builder prior. The quality of the workmanship / product is exceptional, and I would not hesitate to recommend LUXE to anyone looking for a builder who will provide a quality product and outstanding customer service. I will certainly be building with LUXE again!
