Maxa Constructions provided good advice to obtain appropriate drawings of the job we vaguely planned. During construction the builders worked around us as we had to keep living in the property, they were very courteous and considerate. There were no major or unanticipated problems during the build. The finished product is high quality and we are very happy with the result. We highly recommend Maxa Constructions.

The quality of our renovation done by Maxa Constructions was excellent. Karl and Felicity Maxa throughout the entire process were not only accessible but gave an enormous amount of help to ensure the design, colours and finishes of our project worked to ensure the best result. The quality, craftsmanship and professionalism of every person onsite could not be faulted with everyone taking the time to explain what they were doing, what would happen next and how to maintain the finish product in the best condition. Both Karl and his project manager Mike checked every part of the build and would not allow anything other than the best quality materials and workmanship. As with any build there are always minor problems but these were always picked up by Karl and Mike and immediately remedied usually before we had pick them up. Through out the entire build nothing was too much to ask and Karl was always happy to discuss and make additions or minor changes. The professionalism and friendliness of the entire Maxa team made our renovation experience easy with quality results which we will enjoy for many, many years.

Our experience with Karl was enjoyable and as painless as any renovation can be. His manner was very professional and the site and the job was managed accordingly. The job was completed on time and on budget. We have engaged Karl to do our next renovation and would comfortably recommended him and have done so.

Wanting to enhance the usability of our backyard by installing a large viewing deck, Karl of Maxa Constructions was recommended to us due to his willingness to take on jobs big and small and more importantly, his ability to successfully undertake jobs on worksites with inherent issues such as access. Karl and his team of carpenters, engineering consultants and contractors, designed and constructed our deck using the composite decking material, ModWood. Attention to detail was the common factor by all those involved, from initial design, protection of existing structures such as the pool, rock walls and existing fencing, through the engineering process, earthworks, steelworks, carpentry and installation of glass fencing. Maintaining client contact was a positive trait in our Maxa experience. Highly recommend Karl Maxa and his company due to the positive outcomes we experienced through all aspects of the construction process.

Maxa Constructions have done numerous residential and commercial jobs for us for over 20 years now. At all times they have been extremely professional and their workmanship is always finished to the highest of standards.

Twin Garage and Shed converted into a two bedroom self-contained unit. Rainwater tank installed. Substantial improvements to main house including a new wooden rear deck, kitchen servery window and front patio enclosed with louvres. Thanks Karl and Felicity.

We are very happy with the renovation that Maxa Constructions carried out for us last year. Karl and Felicity helped us with invaluable suggestions when we had no real idea of what to do. The work was finished in just under the 5 week timeframe which allowed us to move back in a week before Christmas. This renovation was the second time Maxa Constructions did work for us. In 2010, Karl organised the demolition of a very large fish pond and built a deck in its place. It gave us a much larger outdoor living space and was really worthwhile doing. We would recommend Maxa Constructions to anyone looking for a quality builder.
