We’re a Local and Family Owned Builder! Owned and operated by David and Josie Martin, Mindful Homes are Perth’s newest boutique custom home builder. Mindful Homes is proud to have been awarded as a finalist in the 2018 HIA COLORBOND® steel Matt Perth Housing Awards for our Noranda 2 extension project! Renovating with mindful homes was an inspiring and rewarding experience. Josie and David understood our vision to covert our 1 bedroom granny flat into a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home. With their professional approach to construction and their skilled team of tradesmen the build was completed in a relaxed timely manner and our expectations were exceeded. This is the first renovation/building undertaking we have experienced and we cannot speak highly enough of the quality Mindful Homes provided, and we are extremely impressed with the marrying of the old and new. We now love the extra space and seamless flow of our family home. Mindful Homes commitment to using quality trades and worked tirelessly ensuring the trades delivered on time and rectifying issues, was present throughout the renovation . The attention to detail provided by the team was outstanding and our friends and family were quick to note this. Professional, highly skilled, approachable builder with exacting standards and the ability to work with you from the planning stage to completion. This professionalism extends to all who came on site. David and Josie's capable and warm project management ensured that everything ran like clockwork, all our queries and changes were dealt with extreme efficiency. David and Josie, and their Mindful Homes team were fantastic to work with. We found their professionalism outstanding from the first time we met them onsite and this continued throughout our major renovation. We ended up with perfectly what we wanted and they managed to not only stick to our plan and drawings but made great practical suggestions that exceeded expectations along the way. We asked for a number of variations during the contracts and they were always willing to work with us managing the process very smoothly and cost effectively for us. All of the finishes have been amazing and we are so very thankful for their help practically delivering us a new home. A great job done!!! Dave and Josie listened to what I wanted to do in my extension, offered excellent advice, informed me of some things I hadn't thought about, explained what was going to happen and then kept me updated with the schedule. They were flexible with me and worked around dates for me. The tradesmen they used were all very competent, pleasant if I was on site and best of all cleaned up at the end of each day. It isn't often that tradesmen compliment the people they do work for but this happened regularly during the build. I was always hesitant about building anything but Dave and Josie made this easy for me. I am thrilled with the finished extension, excellent quality of work and my grandchildren love the extra space!! I definitely recommend Mindful Homes to anyone thinking of undertaking an extension or building project.

Wanted a two bedroom extension, went to three of the big builders , plus Mindful Homes. I got the impression that the Big Builder did not care and were giving me silly quotes. Mindful Homes was the only builder of the four to take the time to listen to our requirements and presented a very favourable quotation. We selected Mindful Homes. The whole build process was very easy and on budget. More than happy with the work of Mindful Homes. Would not hesitate to recommend them on job such as ours. Big is not always the best !
