I have recently had Monolith Constructions complete a full renovation and extension for a large home in the blue mountains. I would like to personally thank Brad and his team for thier expertise and work. From the start, Brad the licensed builder took the work through an extremely organised process. Contracts were signed underwritten by the master builders association, specialised insurance and the job inclusions and exclusions were detailed in black and white. This gave me complete peace of mind. Monolith constructions then proceeded to deliver the work, in a professional and succinct manner at all times. Now when my friends and family visit they always comment on the extension, how fantastic it is and who did it ! Brad and his team delivered an honest very high quality job. This has been my sixth full property renovation and due to the large nature and high quality work required I could not have done it without monolith constructions. We are very happy with the quality of work, good communication of options and progress, and organisation of site materials and waste control. Brad clarified our role as client for safety concerns, decisions on changes and fittings, and discussions of items that fell outside the original bid for work. Our renovation use an architect's design with a few changes and there are always surprises with an older house. When the carpeting was removed, we found the slab was compromised and a new foundation need to be laid and the walls removed completely. We discussed building requirements, possible approaches, and a quote of costs generated. In addition to that work, we added a ceiling step-down for down lights in the lounge to reduce the tall ceiling. We added a cabinet in the corner. Brad's team also built a step-out for the gas fireplace installed by another contractor. Brad used good aesthetic sense when changes required choosing among competing items to suggest those that agreed with our idea of the finished project. His experience on what other clients enjoyed concerning bath fittings, placement of components, and space consideration was quite helpful. We received very clear quotes on agreed changes going forward. We still have some paving and landscaping work and our painter is waiting for better weather for the exterior work. We highly recommend this company.

Monolith Constructions completed a split level addition which included a bathroom and kitchen. Brad was highly professional, gave us excellent advice and paid attention to detail. The property was left tidy at the end of each day and Brad made sure we were aware of each step. The project was completed within the expected timeframe and the finished result is of the highest quality.
