I am writing this review to express my gratitude and satisfaction with the exceptional work carried out by ProStyle and their incredible team. They recently extended our home, and we couldn't be happier with the end result. From the very beginning, it was evident that ProStyle is not just an ordinary builder. Their professionalism and attention to detail were apparent, and I knew we were in good hands. Throughout the entire build, their expertise and guidance proved invaluable, and I am truly grateful for their dedication and hard work. What truly stands out about ProStyle is their incredible attention to detail. The quality of workmanship shown in every aspect of the extension is remarkable. From seamlessly integrating the new space with the existing house to the flawless finishing touches, it is clear that they take pride in their work. Another aspect worth mentioning is the professionalism displayed by the entire team. They were always punctual, respectful, and considerate of our needs and preferences. I highly recommend Prostyle Building – professional, experienced, responsive, efficient and friendly. Prostlye finished on time and on budget with quality workmanship and attention to detail. Our project was complicated - major alterations to a three story 1960 home. Prostyles managed every aspect well, finding practical, cost effective solutions to any issue that arose. On several occasions, Craig and his team helped us improve the overall design. No task was too difficult. Communications with ProStyle was excellent. The contract was clear and through - included the schedule and subcontractors Prostyle use. We were kept updated on progress and supported in making important decisions. Prostyle attended to our concerns and questions quickly, providing good advice. We met regularly on site which we enjoyed because Craig and his team were always friendly, happy and relaxed. They cared about us getting the quality and finish we wanted. Prostyle supported us when we needed to make modifications during the build and these changes had minimal impact on the cost or completion date. Incidentally, we commenced at the beginning of the pandemic and watched Craig and Josh strategically plan to make sure they had the materials and subcontractors in place. Despite the shortages in supplies and tradies, Prostyle completed our build on schedule and on budget. Very impressed. The subcontractors Prostyle work with were professional, efficient, hardworking, helpful and polite. All work was completed to a high standard. They came to work happy and spoke very highly of Prostyle. I am extremely grateful to Craig, Josh, Dave and the team at Prostyle for making a complicated build easy and stress-free. The result looks amazing. I feel like I’m living in a 5-star resort. Total luxury! I couldn’t recommend Prostyle more highly and I wouldn’t choose anyone else for my next project. We recently completed our second build with ProStyle and for the second time, we have been thoroughly impressed with them. PRoStyle very much included us in the build process allowing us complete flexibility to select materials, vary inclusions and make modifications along the way that had minimal impact on project cost. Communications with ProStyle was excellent. We knew which stage of the build we were up to and what decisions we were required to make to allow ProStyle to continue the build on schedule. We had regular meetings on site walking through the build and discussing progress. Minor touch ups at the end of the build were promptly attended leaving us with a house that was delivered on schedule and within our agreed budget. I have now built 2 houses with ProStyle, each worth more than $500k. I would happily trust them with a high-end, $1.0M+ build.

Prostyle have just completed a large renovation and extension of our home. The quality of the workmanship and finish is excellent and the communication from start to finish was fantastic. I can highly recommend this company and will be using them in future for any additional work.

Very poor work ethic and unprofessional. We had a second storey put on our house by ProStyle in 2010. ProStyle's engineer did not calculate the increased load on our original house, so our house piers have sunk and we now have crooked floors. Nor did ProStyle identify our reactive soil, which has led to cracks and bulges in the gyprock of every room of our house, both upstairs and downstairs. All attempts to discuss and resolve with ProStyle have started with a promise to assist, followed by being ignored completely. Employ ProStyle at your own risk! Tim Lyon Relationship: Client Project Date: February 2016 Project Price: more than $400,000 I am using ProStyle Building Group, Phillip, ACT for a Knockdown-Rebuild. ProStyle have managed the whole job. The job was particularly difficult as the house was a Mr Fluffy house (contaminated by loose fill asbestos). ProStyle were very receptive to building to my own design (many builders were not). They were able to make some suggestions to improve the design without changing the basic vision I had. Their quote was detailed and professional, even naming the subcontractors they were proposing to use. The Building Contract was based very closely on that recommended by the MBA and the Progress Payments were as recommended by the MBA and the ACT Government. A detailed build schedule was provided before construction started and, six months later, ProStyle look likely to complete the house in accordance with that schedule. ProStyle has sent me an email every Friday advising me what work is planned to be undertaken in the next week. The quality of the build has been excellent throughout the house. ProStyle have an excellent reputation. When I was talking to the joiners (Leader Joinery) I mentioned that the old house did not have straight walls and accurate corners which might affect the fit of their products. They commented that this would not be the case with ProStyle (and so it has turned out). During the build, ProStyle regularly cleaned up the accumulating rubbish of the site. Damage to the garden was kept to the absolute minimum. ProStyle is introducing an online project management system called Co-Construct. This system documents every aspect of the project and allows both parties to keep track of everything including selections, pricing, schedule and variations. Co-Construct automatically sends the owner a weekly Progress Report. It has the potential to be very good. Many builders do not like the owner visiting the site during the build. However, ProStyle encourages this, advising: “Visit the site regularly. After all, we are all human and humans make errors.” Where there have been Price Variations (only two so far) there have been decreases as well as increases, which is always a good sign. ProStyle has also been happy for me to get my carpets, curtains, blinds, shutters and fencing installed before they have handed over the keys (which will greatly speed up my ability to move in).

ProStyle were recommended to us by not one but two of our neighbours who had used them - and their homes are gorgeous! We were very happy with the simple two-bedroom extension that ProStyle built for us. Chris, Josh and the team were amazing. They were friendly, professional, they listened, and they came through with the goods. Anything we worried about/mentioned/wished for, they got right on top of immediately. As we were eager to have as little disruption as possible (with two children around), I just loved that they were so organised with the project management side of things that hardly a day went by without some construction and positive steps taking place, and we were never left waiting or suffering delays. ProStyle's tradespeople (from their carpenter, brickies, painters, plasterer) were all polite and considerate, and all spoke highly of their management team, too. Overall, we can highly recommend ProStyle. I would definitely use them again if the need arose.

We engaged ProStyle to undertake a major renovation of our home. This was a tricky build on a difficult site. It required considerable imagination and involved major challenges in terms of the design, technical/engineering issues and severe adverse weather conditions. We engaged ProStyle on the strength of their reputation for imaginative renovation as evidenced by their portfolio of past projects. They proved willing to understand what we wanted to achieve and take on board our ideas and make them a reality. Throughout the build everyone associated with ProStyle (including their sub-contractors) acted professionally and courteously. Their attention to detail, willingness to accommodate changes 'on the fly', and prompt response to our queries and questions took much of the stress out of this renovation. Overall, we were very happy with the result (see Canberra - Project 1 on ProStyle's page). Apart from a small number of agreed variations to the project and unavoidable delays due to weather, the renovation was delivered on time and on budget. I would not hesitate to recommend ProStyle.
