Wishbone Constructions

We had the fortune of working with Ian and Sean of Wishbone Constructions on a smaller project before we engaged them to undertake a larger studio construction at the rear of our residential property. The site was quite challenging in that there was limited access to the build area and the new build was to be constructed to three boundaries. To maximise the amount of north facing natural light, clerestory windows were incorporated into the roof, which resulted in a reasonably complex roof design and only added to the complexity of the build. We found both Ian and Sean very professional to work with, very approachable and very good communicators. We could see from the initial architects design that this wasn't going to be easy to build and it's not until you start to build that you appreciate the construction knowledge of trades that can help you overcome some design problems. We believe this was crucial as both Ian and Sean, with their construction experience, provided us with many practical solutions, which no doubt resulted in a well built high quality structure. We couldn't be any happier with the end result, which is now enjoyed by our family and friends who also remark how fantastic our new studio looks.

I could not be happier with the level of attention to detail and care from Wishbone Constructions. Sean produced quality carpentry work which was finished to the highest standard. Both Sean and Ian were extremely professional. They turned up on time and worked hard and fast. They were also proactive and knowledgeable, and had suggestions about solving issues that arose over the course of the build. They listened and were flexible and easy to work with. Nothing was too much trouble and the house we have is a joy to live in.

These are the best builders around! We have been extremely happy with the quality of their work, their efficiency and their work ethic. And they completed the work on time! We trusted their judgement so we were prepared to go with their recommendations. We had to call them back to fix another problem we were having and they came when they said they would and also fixed that problem without complaint.
