“We have been in the unfortunate situation of having an architect who failed to produce adequate plans! We are now nearly finished thanks to our builder and his team who have been incredible. We were aiming for a 10 star energy rating so part of the home is underground. We also have a green roof. Very exciting, but lots of engineering input is needed to get things right. Small things, like having enough steel to support such a heavy roof! Our builder has made this project happen despite the lack of plans. Without him and his team we wouldn't even be out of the ground yet. Now we are nearly finished and will have an incredible home as a result. Our builder has been incredibly diligent and very open throughout the project. He has kept us up to date on all things and been very honest about the budget. He has had to redesign so many things and has somehow never lost his cool or motivation. It's been a very challenging job on so many levels and they have been the calm within the storm. Not only will it be beautiful, but we trust the construction is now safe and we look forward enjoying the space fully. I couldn't recommend anyone more confidently.”
