It is so sad to hear your frustration regarding some issues that have occurred as a result of Covid-19 and external suppliers.
We take extreme pride in our work and always go above and beyond for our valued clients, as evident in your previous highly positive review that you left a few months ago when your project was near completion. and my 100% satisfaction in the last 646 projects that we have completed!
We are a team of designers who professionally approached your project, took the right design brief and created a relevant mood boards for the right style of your whole three-bedroom apartment. We then sourced all the furniture and accessories upon your confirmation on all 45 items for you and we installed the whole project meaning you turned the key to a new, beautiful and luxurious home as you wished!
There were many times that you changed your mind after confirmed processes or added things that were not in our agreement, of which I still did them for you and did not mention the challenges that followed your sudden change of mind or requests, since I wanted you to enjoy your new beautiful house with no stress, of which you did.( and that's the most important outcome for us.)
There are circumstances recently that occurred which were beyond our control.
Given the global pandemic, there have been and still are very lengthy shipping times on shipments to Australia which you and I did discuss. In regards to your coffee table, I communicated to you that the supplier estimated it would arrive in Australia by the end of July/August and I had provided another two options (given the lengthy estimated wait time) but you wanted the coffee table and wished to wait for it.
While I did facilitate this order on your behalf, the deposit was one to the supplier and not to my business. When your circumstances suddenly changed and you no longer wished to proceed with the already placed order I liaised many times with the supplier to try and have your deposit returned to which the supplier said they might and finally after two weeks of calling and talking to different managers over 2 weeks,they denied this request and advised that the table had already been ordered and was on its way so returning the deposit was not possible and that the item was scheduled to arrive in another 2 weeks, this I also communicated with you.
Understanding that you had a sudden change in your plan for not wanting the table, I did offer a few alternative solutions (that would put me out) as I wanted to assist you in any way I could.
Throughout our working relationship, my team has made many efforts to assist you, including being lenient when we were unable to process your payment in full according to the scheduled date and not stressing you over the unpaid invoices which are outstanding for weeks now, giving you enough time to sort them out.
We are the same client focused and hard-working team that you previously spoke very highly of with a beautiful review and we hope you continue enjoying the beautiful space we created for you.
