Initially Monika stood out from the other designers that I had interviewed, because she offered her first consult free of charge, and she picked up on what my style was leaning towards without me actually being aware of it. She brought me samples, provided pictures of ideas, and helped me make decisions, so I saved a huge amount of time and stress compared to doing it on my own. She created layouts of rooms to make the most of the space both functionally and aesthetically. She listened to our concerns and wishes, likes and dislikes. She was mindful of our budget and tried to offer the most cost efficient option wherever possible, and she passed on her trade discounts which saved us a lot of money and essentially paid for her service in the end.
